Maria was warm and friendly. The unit was secure, quiet, well maintained and fully equipped with everything one would need for a comfortable stay at a beachfront apartment. The neighborhood could use some upgrades, but the apartment complex was excellent and the neighborhood was safe.
Maria was great, made my stay in San Juan a special one.
I've made a reservation to stay in Saturce, but when i arrived to the apart didn't have an AC.After communicating Maria that I would prefer an apart w an AC she was quick to come out w a solution. She moved me right away to an apart in Condado. The place was everything i was looking for, comfortable, clean, spacious n very well located!..near the beach, restaurants n safe to walk around.
I would definelly will contact Maria next time Im in San Juan, she was just amazing!..
Maria was really helpful with providing us with information on getting around by bus and places that we could go in the city. She received us and was very attentive and we exchanged numbers to keep in touch. She even left a bottle of wine in the fridge which was a really nice touch!
The apartment was in a good location if you want to be close to the Condado strip, with parking included, and a grocery store within walking distance. It felt really welcoming when I got there.
Beautiful view from the porch! The secure parking and grounds were reassuring. As another reviewer noted the shower has a mind of it's own, sometimes scalding sometimes cold. The A/C is in a window unit in the bedroom. The central location is close to Fajardo, the rain-forest, and really nice snorkeling right outside on the beach at 'La Punta.' We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!
Me senti en mi casa. La casa impecable. La vista al mar un lujo. Maria muy amable y atenta. Lo recomiendo 100%.
When I got there I was well welcomed, the adress wasn't quite the one I had gotten but I recognized the house from the pictures, the house was amazing it was bigger then what it looked in pictures, it felt very homie, nice air conditioning n just felt right, very close to El poblado and everything and just recommend this location to anyone looking to go to boqueron, deffenetly looking to book again next year, thank you villa lolita
The Beach Front apartment was beautiful. Waking up each morning to the ocean breeze and view was spectacular. The kitchen was adequately equipped with what our family needed to cook breakfast, as well as, to grill each evening. The beach in front of the apartment was clean and we generally felt like we had the ocean to ourselves. Maria's brother, her assistant, was very accommodating and immediately responsive to any question. The town surrounding the apartment was rural but easily accessible to the Rain forest and local eateries and beaches.
Maria was a great hostess. The apt she was going to give us was unavailable and provided us with another similar apt. The apt is 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to the supermarket--a great location.
Maria was a helpful and efficient host, and the apartment was as described -- light-filled and very pleasant space in a fun and safe neighborhood. The proximity to the beach and great restaurants, as well as supermarket and other stores is unbeatable.
Having a parking space was a wonderful asset, although the garage door was a bit finicky. Another bizarre but ultimately OK issue was the fact that the door and gate at the front door of the apartment cannot actually be locked at the same time due to the positioning of the doorknob. This seems a little silly, but is ultimately OK. The gate has a deadbolt.
The internet is the only other weak point of the apartment, but unless you are in San Juan to use the internet for hours a day, it's pretty manageable.
Thanks for a great stay!
Maria is a great host: the meeting was without problems, she had left us several beers in the fridge, we texted her for suggestions and she was always prompt to respond. The house is very basic, but does the job and is economical. One problem is (or are) the mosquitoes - since there is no A/C, you have to keep windows open, and that invites them in. The bathroom, not shown in the pictures, is quite small. The parking space really helped, as it is impossible to explore PR without a car. The house is not in a very central district, but we didn't feel unsafe and certainly did not matter after renting a car.
