Thank you for 4night i felt very comfortable and cozy. And price is very nice! When i went to Manhattan, i spent just 30min. From near subway to house is 15min by walk but if you take a bus M15, just 2min! If i have a chance, i wanna go again! If you choose this house, i think very good choice:D
my experience was great. the apartment lay out was awesome I did not get to see Trevor, but we did have a phone convo the night before I explained to him that my flight was coming in before check in time and he was ok with that. when I got there he left a bunch of instruction on a chalk board of the nearest train stations, the closest grocery store and numbers to call for cabs. the apartment was was neat and clear he left a portable heat in the room and i'm glad he did cause it was very cold at night. overall my experience was excellent.
I had a friend visiting me from me overseas and I was unable to meet them at Trevor's apartment. However, Trevor's directions and patience made it completely painless. In fact, my friend decided to leave the city a little earlier than planned, and Trevor was willing to not only let us cancel the reservation, but also refunded us on the remaining days. The host really made this experience great.
In addition, the apartment is even nicer than it looks in pictures. It is furnished with everything a person could need. We stayed in January and loved the amount of heat inside. I would recommend this to anyone and plan on returning myself someday.
Thank you for the nice review
The apartment was great. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing that was very annoying was the noise that came from the apartment above. We could hear every step the people above made and sometimes it felt like he or she is in the livingroom right next to us but we spent most of the time outside so it was ok.
You can reach the next supermarket with a 5 minute walk. To the next subway station you have to walk about 15-20 minutes.
We arrived late at Quincy Street but the arrival was no problem. Trevor is a very helpful host and he answers very fast.
All in all we ha da great stay at trevor's apartment!
Trevor was a great host although we did not meet him in person he was quick to respond to messages. The apartment was perfect for 3 of us staying for 3 nights. It was very clean and contained everything you need. Bit of a walk to the subway but this was not a problem. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay!
The host was very polite and ready to help in every situation.
The apartments were nice and stylish, so we enjoyed our stay there.
My husband and I had a great stay with trevor. The place is clean and spacious. The Queen bed is super comfortable and we got great sleep. The neighborhood is OK, a bit of a walk to the train, I would say 15 minutes. There is cable TV in the apartment, kitchen utensils, and a great pantry, however when you cook, the stupid fire alarm goes off ridiculously easy. You'll see. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay in Brooklyn. We just hoped we could have stayed longer.
We had a fantastic time at Trevor's apt. Very clean, had everything we needed for our week. Trevor was really easy to get hold of if we had any questions. All in all a fab week! The appt. was about a 15min walk to the subway, which was fine for us as we are used to walking everywhere. I have read a few reviews saying that the area wasn't very good, but honestly we were coming home around midnight and later and it was fine, very quiet. I think maybe the people commenting this are not from a city!
This was a great place to stay during our long weekend in NYC. Trevor thoughtfully left us phone numbers for two cab companies in our Airbnb when we arrived, which turned out to be very helpful. We also loved checking out some of the hole-in-the-wall eateries that were within walking distance.
Tevor gave us a warm welcome, when we arrived.
The apartment is located a 15 min. walk from the next train station, however there are several bus stations close by. The apartment is spacious and has a great kitchen and appliances. The bed is very comfortable.
What we did not like was that the apartment is located in the Souterrain with only 1 small window in the bedroom. It was helpful that we could store our luggage at the place after check out.
Great place to stay and affordable . Not too far from the city and Trevor made me feel welcome. I'm definitely coming back!
I wanted my NYC visit to be authentic, absorbing all of the culture of Brooklyn, and it started perfectly with my stay here. I was received with a warm welcome, received history of the neighborhood as well as information about my favorite topic, were to eat! My wife and i were thoroughly impressed with the amenities during my weekend stay. The apartment was immaculate! Nicely furnished bedroom, living area and kitchen. I'd have to say the backyard was an added plus and turned out to be the place we spent a large part of our time.
The one critique I have was that the neighbor appeared to be finalizing some home remodeling the first day we arrived, which made it a little noisier than I would have liked. However it was resolved by day two and was quickly a distant memory!
This place is Lovely!!! A wonderful sunny, clean, spacious and welcoming apartment, in Bed-Stuy. I really love the apt and the neighbourhood, which is really vibrant and with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Transportation is also easily accessible – a 7/8min walk to the C,A trains, even less to the G train - with trains to Manhattan in 20mins. Trevor is exceptionally friendly and a great host. I couldn’t recommend this apartment enough for your stay in New York. It's Superb!!
