Hi, I am Mary from South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I welcome all travellers looking for a place to stay.
Mary is a great host, very friendly and easy to have access to. She wasn't in when I arrived but she ensured that she emailed/texted me with clear instructions on how to get my keys.
it was a very nice trip in Brisbain to stay in Mary's house. It's a neat, tidy and lovely purple house.
The bedding was very clean and no smell on it.
Mary's house was within walking distance of South Bank which was great.
It was also a very reasonable price. It was a good place to get over my jet lag. I have to say I never got round to using any of the kitchen facilities that were there.
The room was neat and clean as was the shared bathroom. However there were some communication problems when I was confirming my stay. Mary was nice and welcoming when I arrived.
There were some of those little reminders that the place is being renovated. However, it's a place with character as well as a friendly and helpful owner. It was a great 'home base' while I was in Brisbane and, if you pack comfy shoes, it really is walking distance to heaps of places. (The train tracks were being redone on the day I arrived so, instead of working out the replacement buses, I even strolled there from the city centre.)
Mary is a friendly host; the location close to Southbank suited me perfectly.
Mary is a lovely and thoughtful host. The room is very tidy, quiet and near the south bank park which is very convenient for us. You can also walk to the main shopping area in queens street if you're up for it. The room is really good for the price. We will definitely recommend mary's accommodation to anyone.
From Marys' place it is an easy 10 - 15 min walk to Southbank, buses and trains which was perfect for us. There isn't aircon but the fan was fine. Mary was very accommodating. Overall we had what we wanted at a good price. Would have no problems staying at Marys' place again.
Mary, you are very friendly hosts, Thank you !!!
Nice little cheap house. Very close to the center, and South Bank station.
