April's experience was excellent. She was communicative, professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, a really neat human being to spend an afternoon with. Highly recommended.

Great tour of wonderful year round open air market and nearby neighborhood, both places we wouldn't have seen if we hadn't gone on the tour. April is knowledgeable and articulate and her love of food shows.

April is a great tour guide because she has lived in the city for a long long time and therefore has some insider insight that you can’t really find anywhere else. She is also well travelled and has a unique way of comparing and contrasting DC with other global cities. My favorite part of the tour were the farmers market and the murals near the Howard Theater. Great tour and well worth the money.

April's Farmers & Brewers tour is a great way to experience some of the special treats that Washington DC has to offer. April guided us through a wonderful farmers market, where we were able to sample many of the delicous foods and drinks. Everything from Kambucha, cheeses, fruits, beers and liquores. Chatty and fun. Good taste in bars and restaurants. She was really into talking about the history of the neighborhoods we walked through, which was a nice change in pace. One suggestion- maybe she could take people on a tour to a place like Heurich House, when it's open? Thanks April!

April went out of her way to accommodate me on my tour. Due to delays in my travel, April rescheduled a private tour to two nice local breweries or tasting rooms. The food at the Cider House was amazing. Other than the lack of parking availability in the area in which our tour began and the end of the tour being at another side of the city, it was nice and refreshing. I appreciate April for going out of her way to show me around. I had a great experience.

We enjoyed staying at April's apartment. It was well located and had everything we needed for hour five-day stay. Although we were not able to meet April, she sent us detailed instructions via email and her friend was incredibly helpful getting us settled. She was responsive to all of our inquires throughout our stay. For the price, April's place is well appointed, large, and comfortable. We would recommend April and her place to anyone who is interested!

The apartment is nice and cozy but if you are allergic to dog hair don't stay there. The hygiene was a problem here. When we first arrived I had to sweep the floor twice due to an abundance of dog hair everywhere. So much that my baby started to cough non stop. My clothes were full of dog hairs everywhere. Other things that I didn't like were the fact that April's clothes were still in the dryer when I went to wash my clothes. I am not paying for having to take her clothes out of the dryer.
