Hi there, I am director of marketing for a small nonprofit that works to fight child labor in the rug industry. I'm in town for the International Rug Show at America's Mart. Our website - (website hidden) - and my own - (website hidden).
I'm sorry that Gaby had a less than satisfactory stay. I agree that people with dog allergies should find a dog-free house to stay in as there is bound to be some residual dog hair in any pet-owning household, but I paid for a professional cleaning that cost nearly half the net value of her stay before she arrived, so I certainly did my best to leave the place in good working order for her. If there were clothes in the dryer or there was some small stain on the towels provided, that was certainly an oversight for which I apologize. I do retain my usual personal effects in the bathroom as in other space in my home - this is my home, not a hotel after all - so I would hope that air BNBers would understand that these kind of things - someone's razor in the bathroom - come with the territory of renting a part or all of someone's personal space. I have kept the price of my rental below most comparable places on the site, given that I do provide minimum amenities. Since this review, I have added a fee for guests above 2 and a cleaning fee so that I can invest in additional services for guests next time without feeling squeezed on the fee.
