If you are up for an adventure and don't need the typical private room setting, this might be the place for you. There is plenty to keep you occupied in this game room like garage lodge full of unique belongings and activities to entertain a wide variety of people. Craig and Meg were great hosts and it was fun adventure. We enjoyed our stay in the quaint town of Livingston.
Craig was an awesome and helpful host who accommodated our travel issues to an extent we couldn't have expected or asked for. Our stay was exactly as it is described. We would Stay here again in a heartbeat.
We had the most wonderful 2 nighstay at Craig's very unique space, the Garlodge in Livingston. A perfect, comfy laid back retreat with tv, billiards, darts and even a piano if you fancy tickling the ivories! Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Craig but he had everything set in place for our perfect stay. We headed around the corner to The Neptune Brewery for some food and beer and met the wonderful owners, John and his wife and the bartender, Kylie and listened to two young guys play some of the best Bluegrass music we've ever heard.
We enjoyed exploring Livingston's arty little shops, bars and restaurants and spent an evening chatting to a local who's ancestors were from our little county in Ireland! The Garlodge is a beautiful, unusual and eclectic space, perfectly located for exploring West Yellowstone and The Battle of Little Bighorn site is only a 2.5 hour scenic drive away so we spent a day there, stopping in Red Lodge for food along the way.
I can't recommend the Garlodge highly enough for it's real uniqueness and convenient location. Craig and his wife have created one of the most unusual and eclectic hideaway places that we have ever stayed on our world travels. We would definitely recommend it and hope to get back some day.
Had to cancel on super short notice and Craig was understanding and generous with his refund.
Great cabin and a cute little town for some very quiet R&R
This place was beyond cool, as were the hosts. Craig and Meg were friendly and relaxed, and this converted garage was full of oddities for days. It was an eclectic place that felt a little like an antique store and a little like a dive bar. In short, it was a great spot to relax and there was tons to keep us busy both in the garage and around town. We can't wait to return!
Craig was super accommodating with our arrival time, which changed a couple of times. He was readily available when we arrived and gave us a quick rundown. We were familiar with the area so we needed a quiet, comfortable place to relax and the Garlodge fit the bill! Everything we needed and more!! We highly recommend the Garlodge.
Had a great 4th of July with friends at this unique space! Would love to come back again!
Craig was very welcoming. The mancave (garlodge) was my son's favorite part of our vacation! We had a great time and would love to go back.
Craig's place is truly one of a kind! He's done a great job of creating a unique and fun space. There were only two of us but it could easily accommodate more. While we never encountered Craig in person, he was great to deal with online and by phone- very friendly and responsive. Unfortunately, we were there during an unusual heat wave, and the space is not air conditioned. We ended up cutting our stay short by a day because it was simply too hot, but Craig was very understanding and accommodating. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would stay at the Garlodge for sure!
