Outdoor enthusiast; love the river, biking, camping, Jeeping, and anything in the mountains.
The host canceled my reservation 175 days before arrival.
Craig was a super kind host and helpful with just about anything. I enjoyed his company during the stay and he makes fantastic eggs and smoothies, too!
The room was good and pretty much as described.
I really enjoyed staying at Craig and Meg's house. I'm driving cross country trip and inquired with Craig about staying at his place for a night or two. My inquiry was last minute and I was unsure when I would be driving through Montana. Craig was very flexible and understanding. Arriving at their house, I was very happy with my decision. They have a very cute, comfortable, stylishly furnished place. They both were very welcoming and full of information and advice about everything, including info on Yellowstone and fly fishing. One of the best things about their place is their converted "man cave" garage. It's pretty awesome - pool table, tv's, bar, shower, etc. If you are interested in exploring southern Montana, going to Yellowstone, etc, their house is a perfect place to stay as point central while exploring. I highly recommend.
I emailed Craig at the last minute over the Labor Day Weekend for a one night stay before heading back home. Although Craig and his family were on their way to the hiking trails, Craig approved our request and accommodated our needs. His home is charming, well appointed, rustic and modern concurrently and has a kick ass recreation, entertainment and music room in a converted large garage. Spectacular. The home was clean , well kept and maintained. The home is located on a side street off the busy main street and it was very quiet. And the price was right. Thank you Craig. I look forward to returning!
Where to start? This location was my first AirBnB, what a great choice. Meg and Craig are true outdoor enthusiasts. Montana demands to be explored and these two fit the bill, their home is integrated into this very active lifestyle, yet still has every creature comfort most city folk have grown accustomed. The home is situated near down town where they both leave by foot or mountain bike to accomplish most of their daily routine, awesomeness. Forget the hotel, forget a big BnB the direct one on one will leave you feeling great about this aspect of your trip, it nearly feels like home.
I would highly recommend and will certainly be repeating my stay, I don't believe their are better hosts on AirBnB. I would like to say now the hosts are friends, you may also.
Craig's a cool guy with a nice place to make yourself at home. The bedroom is nice and I really like the comfy pillows. I got a tour of Craig's other Airbnb rental which has games, a bar and lounging areas. Maybe I'll bring some friends and stay there next time! The house is a quick walk to downtown Livingston which has a charming feel. Wish I could have stayed longer. The drive between Yellowstone and Livingston is interesting and scenic. Craig is quite the outdoorsman and knows a lot about the area. Thanks again Craig!
Craig was an *extremely* accommodating host! I was passing through on a motorcycle road trip that left me with little ability to specify my arrival time. He had everything waiting for me--even when I didn't arrive until 2am. And when the host for my next night's stay wasn't able to host me after all, Craig allowed me to stay at his place a 2nd night, even though he had to leave for a trip of his own and wouldn't be there. He's got a great pad, with a nice game room and bar set up. I would definitely look him up again if I'm gonna be travelling back through that area of the country! Thanks, Craig!
Craig and Meg were incredible hosts. Gracious, knowledgable and fun to be with. We can't wait to go back!
Super great stay in a lovely, walkable part of Livingston with amazing mountain views. Super clean, beautiful house. Charming, aloof dogs. Great hosts who know the area well. I want to go back!
