Our family grew up on the Delaware River and this is a bungalow very special to us. This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway in Winter, Summer, Spring, or Fall!

I stayed at the Manzi's house for two nights in June 2014 with my husband and another couple. We were all impressed with the house and agreed that the photos didn't do the place justice. The house had many things that we needed in the bathroom, including things like shampoo, conditioner, soap, a hair dryer, and an iron. We cooked in the kitchen and grilled on the gas grill and everything worked great. The only thing we needed that wasn't there was a pair of tongs to use on the grill. The breaker flipped for the dishwasher, which had us scratching our heads for a while, but we figured it out. If I came again (and I definitely would), I would bring my own pillow from home and some high quality ground coffee. Someone else mentioned that there wasn't any cooking oil, but we found a big bottle in one of the cabinets.
We are so happy we found this listing. The home is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for some peace and quiet in an area with loads to see and do. The Manzis put incredible thought into making the home a comfortable, modern, yet rustic place and we felt that nothing was lacking. When we arrived, the place was impeccably clean, with clear instructions how to use all the amenities, and even the morning's paper on the table (which had info about events in the area). The bathroom had toiletries and was set up to make us feel like we were staying at a bed and breakfast. We strolled about the area during our stay and within five minutes of walking had an incredible view of the Delaware Water Gap. At night we were able to sit out on the porch (overlooking the water), or light a fire in the fire-pit outdoors, or just hang out in the cozy den watching cable. All in all an incredible experience. Highly recommend!
Our experience at the Manzi's Delaware River Bungalow was second to none. The cabin has been completely renovated. It is clean and well-kept. The amenities included surround sound speakers (can connect to iPhone), satellite TV's in three rooms, and free WiFi. They provided board games and cards in the living room for additional entertainment. The Manzi's responded within five minutes to all of our requests. We will definitely be back and appreciate the work and care they put into hosting us for our weekend stay in the Pocono's!
We had a wonderful experience at the Pocono cabin. It was well-stocked with kitchen supplies (pots, pans, cups etc) and towels and bedding for all four of us. There was a stereo that allowed us to play music in the house and out on the deck. There was beautiful natural light all over the house, and its spot next to the river made us really feel like we were somewhere special (even if you can see the highway across the water).
WOW!!!! This cabin was amazing! As other reviews said the cabin is more beautiful in person then in picture. We got there at 3pm when the whole cabin was perfectly lit by sun light. We entered the front door and all stood there in shock at the beauty of the place. You're greeted by the main room where the focal piece is the fireplace made from old river rock. Then you walk into the kitchen and back porch where the sun shines in through a wall of sliding glass doors. We were a group of two adults and to teens who then proceeded to walk around the whole cabin looking at everything almost in shock of the beauty. Don't let the picture of the outside front of this place fool you. The cabin has been renovated perfectly inside. There is beautiful wood everywhere inside including the bedroom and bathroom. There is no oven but we actually didn't even need one. The back deck is huge with a great gas grill and we used that every night to cook dinner and even make deserts. The place is also wired with a great surround sound system that you can also play out on the deck. The cabin is right on the river like 10 steps away. We bought fishing poles and spent three days fishing. Overall our trip was so much more than we ever could have imagined it would be. Jeffery (email hidden) too. Everything you need is already at the cabin, just being food and drinks! He quickly responded to all of our questions. The only reason I would not recommended this place is because I want it to be available next time we want to go there!!
We had a great experience with Poconos cabin. My friends and me have really enjoyed our ski weekend. Shawnee Montain Ski Area is located at only 20 minutes. Our hosts were very responsive and we had appreciated their help for the fireplace.
We had a wonderful snowy weekend in this beautifully remodeled Poconos cabin. The location on the river was so peaceful. The cabin was spotless and smelled of fresh cedar from the new wood paneling. Linda and Jeffrey were wonderful hosts and prompt to reply to our questions. We did some hiking, skiing, and relaxing by the fireplace. All and all, a perfect winter weekend! Thanks again:)
We had a lovely time, and the pictures really do not do it justice! One thing to note is there is no oven...there is a stove and microwave and all the cooking supplies you might need, but no oven, just a heads up!
We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin a lot - since the very first inquiry about the place Jeff was very responsive and answered all my questions promptly. He also sent us driving directions which helped a lot.
The house was even nicer than the pictures - the living room was big and cozy, and the kitchen came with full and clean appliances (and had snacks, soda, tea and coffee!). If you are planning on cooking do make sure to bring cooking oil and seasonings.
The next day (new year's eve) my car suddenly died and the Manzi family was nice enough to stop by minutes later to help jump start my car, which i was really grateful of.
Overall we had an amazing experience here and we'd totally come back again for another fun weekend! Thank you!
The cabin was awesome. Very clean and spacious and Jeff stayed up late the night of our arrival to let us in. Very nice place and kind hosts.
Stayed here for a girls weekend and it was the best! It has a great layout and amazing deck overlooking the Delaware River. The rooms are pretty big, so even if you are sharing you aren't on top of each other. The kitchen and bathrooms are all super new and clean. It really was the perfect place for our little reunion. Definitely coming back! The owners, Carol and Jeff are really sweet. They totally took care of us and didn't impose at all. It was a GREAT weekend!
I stayed at this bungalow with a group of friends and it exceeded my expectations. It is extremely open and spacious inside and the entire wall facing the river is all windows with sliding glass doors leading out onto a huge deck. Needless to say, the view is amazing. The bedrooms are cozy but with plenty of space and the entire rental was spotless. There is also a fantastic sound system with speakers included out on the deck - this is key for me in any vacation rental! We were there in the fall and I would honestly love to stay there at any time of the year. It's the perfect, relaxing getaway spot for friends. I live in NYC, and not being familiar with the area I was surprised of how quick and easy it was to get to from the city. You will not be disappointed with this rental!
I love this cabin on the river! We live in Los Angeles now but when we come back to Pennsylvania we enjoy spending our time relaxing on the river. Especially love the outdoor fireplace and deck. So close to NYC and Camelback/Shawnee Mountains. Great for summer and tubing on the Delaware! They just fully renovated the property - looks amazing! Spotless.
