- Hi , my name is Suzette, and I' m an actress ! ! !
Suzette and her apartment were two of our favorite things about our Paris trip! The setting was perfect for our first time in the city, and so close to the metro, too. The location has access to most of the main attractions, each just a short ride away. Suzette herself was warm and welcoming, and an excellent communicator -- she have us detailed instructions for finding her apartment and even had bread, wine and cheese for us upon arrival. We will definitely be back!
My wife and I stayed for three nights at Suzette's studio apartment over a long weekend. We loved the location of the apartment, on a very charming street, only a few blocks from the "Place d'Italie" metro stop that is the junction for three metro lines. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, including on the same block one of Paris' best Thai restaurants, nearby many Chinese, Vietnamese, and other Asian cuisines, and, of course, French restaurants too. There's a great boulangerie (bakery) on the corner, and very close is a retail center that includes a Carrefour supermarket.
Suzette was a very helpful host, giving us easy to follow directions to find the apartment from arrival at CDG airport and using the Metro. She had a bottle of wine and a baguette and croissants waiting for us at the apartment, and there was coffee, butter, jam, etc. in the refrigerator. She also has travel guides, maps, and assorted books in the bookshelf. The studio is compact, on the first floor of its building. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated.
Thank you Suzette for providing us with such lovely place to stay in Paris! Will definitely come back again : )
A proposito!
This was wonderfully cozy Parisian apartment. We had a great welcoming with brie, baguettes, the most buttery croissants, and a bottle of red wine. The place had everything you need for a stay and nearby was a wonderful boulangerie (bakery) and occasional farmer's market. You could easily get around Paris being a short walk from two Metro stops, or you could just wander the neighborhood. Truly a Parisian experience you can't get anywhere else.
The building is secure, needing to get through two doors before walking up to the first floor to the apartment with two deadbolt locks. The apartment was clean with a little storage space for some clothes and shelves up high to maybe throw your luggage after you've emptied it. Free Wifi was provided which helped since we couldn't really get it anywhere else.
Suzette is an ideal host. She responds to your questions very quickly and is thorough in her responses. Before our trip, she provided instructions on how to get to the apartment by train, or have a cab pick us up for a fixed price. Before the trip, we had asked about an iron and she said she'd put one in the room for us. Mid-week, I asked about arranging a cab for our trip back to the airport and she responded promptly and had it arranged quickly. Her driver came by on time and got us to the airport in no time and was very courteous and friendly.
There is no question. We would recommend this place to anyone who would like to visit Paris, be greeted warmly, and have a base that made you feel like a local.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Suzettes place for 3 nights and we loved it! The neighborhood was very nice and not very touristy, great restaurants and bars nearby and very close to the metro. Suzette was an amazing host, very sweet and welcomed us with a thorough guide of how to get around and what to see in the area. We loved our stay and will definitely come again, rather sooner than later.
Suzette was really great. We arrived earlier and so called her. She was able to join in 30min! The place is exactly like the pictures. It's clean, romantic and full of furnitures for a stay in Paris. We were also welcomed by a really good bottle of wine, bread, orange juice,... and some more great things.
The location is perfect as well, close to public transportation, shops and nice restaurants. We will come back for sure!

Suzette was a lovely host meeting us at the flat on arrival and providing us with a selection of suitably French treats to keep us going after our journey! The flat was in a great location with easy access to the metro, and a patisserie and market just at the end of the street. The accommodation itself had everything we needed for our stay and we were very comfortable there. The only drawback was the building work going on over the road which interrupted a couple of our mornings, but Suzette had given us advanced warning about this and we chose to take the risk. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
This is the archetypal Paris living experience - a compact studio but everything is there, from double bed to dining table, with well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a bath. The area is what first attracted me, Buttes aux Cailles is the genuine arty quartier; peaceful streets just a step away from the busy Place d'Italie, elegant graffiti, authentic restaurants and no other tourists in sight. Suzette is the ideal host, friendly, helpful and generous, providing a warm well-provisioned welcome and helpful guidance throughout.
Suzette and her Family are very Nice people! They left the apartment Nice and clean.
When I come to Paris in spring I Will rent their place :-)
