I am 47, married with two young children, both boys, 6 and 9 (in spring 2014). I was born in Greece. I moved to the US in 1986, got a BS in Economics from George Mason University, in Fairfax, VA, a MS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a PhD in Finance from the University of Southern California. In 1996 i moved to New York and I worked at JP Morgan's investment banking division until the fall of 1998. Then I moved to Greece, I worked as an investment banker for 14 years, I met my wife and had a family. I moved back to the US in January 2013 to become a Senior Vice President Finance for CreditCircle Inc., a financial services start up that aims to revolutionize consumer lending by lowering interest rates and eliminating all the fees and charges and penalties banks charge to consumers. I love history, politics, reading, walking and food. My boys are well mannered, for the most part, and they love exploring new places we visit, and try out new tastes and experiences. My wife is always trying to be the voice of reason and moderation to our explorer spirit.
