Great place! Nice, good beds, and close to the city centre.
Just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Pink House in Oxford.
Tim provided loads of very helpful advice and suggestions in response to our questions before we arrived.
On arrival we instantly loved the house, a lovely little Victorian terrace full of original features. It feels comfortable like being at home, full of books and art.
If you want ultra modern chic this is not for you. But if you are looking for charm and homeliness it will more than fit the bill.
Tim provided many basics including tea, coffee, milk and cereal and masses of towels.
The house is very conveniently situated midway between the ring road and the city centre, a ten minute walk. There are takeaways, a shop and an Aldi close by.
You need to leave your car in the Park and Ride, a few minutes walk away, during the day (only £2 for 24 hours) but you really don't need it for the City.
Visitors must not miss Dhosa Park near the station for South Indian food, no frills but authentic!
Great stay. Will definitely be back.
The house was lovely for a short and sweet stay in Oxford.
Very easy to get into the centre of Oxford from Tim's house. Everything is provided for you and great to have the WiFi. Thanks Tim!
We had a really lovely stay at Tim's house. There was plenty of space, great facilities and it was comfortable and airy. It's also in a great location as it's near to the city centre while still being nice and quiet at night. We really couldn't have asked for more & are already thinking about booking again for the summer so that we can enjoy the lovely little garden too. (It was FAR too cold for sitting outdoors in Oxford this weekend!) Tim is very friendly and was really responsive to messages & texts etc. when we booked and made sure we had everything we needed to know for our arrival. I'd highly recommend Tim's lovely house.
Lovely place to stay. Tim was an extremely helpful host. Would recommend.
Lovely and cozy attic room. Easy to get arrived central area. I could see what the British style is through Tim's house and I'd highly recommend if you want to know Oxford because he knows lots of things and has a number of files and books about. Moreover you could see Japanese pattern designed things :)
We loved the flat at Tim's. The location was close to down town. Room was exactly like the pictures with its own private bath. Warm and quiet.
Tim could not have been nicer. We arrived late and wanted to go to a pub. He walked us down to one of his favorites.
We will always stay at Tim's when we come to Oxford
Lovely, clean cosy home in beautiful location. Picturesque walk into the city centre added to the charm.
Tim and Clare are very lovely couple. They provide everything we need. And the place it's very clearn and comfortable. :)
the sweetest people - warm and kind and left the place very nicely!
An absolutely delightful family. Hugely polite, respectful, friendly and very well mannered. One could not ask for more perfect guests. The children were lovely too, being both interested and interesting and chatty. Both Jessica and I would be thrilled if they chose to come back and stay with us in the future as they would all be very welcome to do so and it would be lovely for us to meet them again. Although they had an early start to their journey, they still found time to make their beds and leave their rooms in perfect order which merely went to reinforce our views that they are all thoughtful and respectful guests. Hosts could ask for no more.
