Charming villa, not a "made-for-tourists" variant, but a place of real life. Nice stuff (fresh fruit salad, fresh juice, croissants, eggs in the morning). Very nice garden, a lot of orchids. Our son was little bit frightened with insects, lizards and loudly singing frogs, but that was because of high-wet season and of his big-city-biography )))
Some little problems that we faced, Claude solved very quickly.
Very good place for family staying, we really enjoyed.
(Even if you wouldn't live there, visit Claude's restaurant "Bridges" in Ubud - it is really perfect.)
Really nice house, we enjoyed our stay! Claude and Iyan (as well as Ita and Tim, the staff) are kind and helpful.
I would definitely recommend it!
The only improvement that needs to get done is to get the electricity voltage fixed, as we did had a few circuit trips. I guess it forces you to watch your power consumption and save the planet ;)
What a beautiful place in Sanur! a fantastic house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Claude even organised a baby cod for our two year old! The house is in a very nice area of Sanur, a little off the busy streets and lies in a beautiful garden. We loved it!
WOW - what a place. As we walked into the Villa all we could think was that we had won the lottery of places to stay!!! The Villa and art are beautifully done and everything one could need was either in the Villa or within a few steps.
Our stay also included the staff who were wonderful and very helpful with anything we needed.
It was beyond wonderful to wake up and step out into the sunshine and then dive into your own beautiful pool! Have breakfast ready for you, prepared by Ita and then you can start your day.
We drove there in a car so it was easy to get around. If you want to go into Sanur or the beach you will need someway to get there as it's probably walkable but we never tried.
Neighborhood is very quite and as I said - everything you need is within a few steps (restaurant, store, laundry).
We had some electrical circuits trip when we were there (just how electricity in Bali is) so it was good to know where all the circuit breakers were. It saved an evening knowing this :)
Don't hesitate to book this Villa - you will NOT regret it!!
Claude communicates me promptly on time and what he needed. Overall he was an easy & friendly guest to host. He also hosts in Bali so knows how Airbnb work quite well.
