Great flat in a great location - just 10 minutes from the beach and Bronte is so much nicer and quieter than nearby Bondi.
We did not get to meet Stephen but he was very easy to communicate with and everything went really smoothly.
Thanks for a great stay
What a great place! great location, great size, so clean and tidy. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. Stephen was oh so prompt with his communication and extremely helpful. I would move in if he was to offer! thank you.
Apartment was clean and inviting and in a quiet neighborhood.
Really enjoyed this Bronte pad!! Excellent location in a quiet street walking distance from the beach. Plenty of space and great ambience. Highly recommended!!
We loved this comfortable, welcoming apartment, its quiet location - and piano. It was easy to get in and out of the city using the local bus and (had we not been so unlucky with the heavy rain), we would have absolutely loved walking the streets of Bronte, along the cliff path, and swimming in the Bronte sea pool. That said, we were lucky to be staying in this apartment (as opposed to a hotel or the Y) precisely because we could take refuge from the unusually unseasonal weather and still enjoy ourselves. Host Stephen responded rapidly and very clearly when we had queries (before and during our stay) and the no-fuss process of getting in and out of the apartment was simple. We didn't expect to have basic provisions in the kitchen but it was a welcome surprise and the honour system (replace what you use) is a really nice practice. Love to stay again, if possible.
We arrived on a Friday and left on the Monday. Unfortunately, we arrived on what turned out to be Sydney's coldest day so we didn't make it to the beach though having lived in the area previously we can definitely vouch for the location and it would have been great to do the walk along the beaches to Bondi, had the weather been kinder.
Only a short walk up hill to main bus stop where the buses came regularly. We never bothered checking the timetable we just turned up and so did the buses.
If you have young kids I would also recommend as there is a small playground (2 x swings and 1 x seesaw) in the street and a larger playground on the way to the bus stop.
Accommodation was great and suited our (website hidden) and internet access great.
The apartment is cheery and the area is lovely to explore. Bronte and Clovelly beaches were a treat to walk along. I particularly enjoyed Cafe Bronte Carlo up on the hill about 10 mins away from the apartment. Transport into the city is not all that straight forward as there seems to be just one bus up the hill a bit and that goes to Bondi Junction and then I took a train into the city but that seemed safe and OK.
The ASEAN Village restaurant at 149 Alison St Randwick was great.
