I live in Canberra where I work for the Australian Government. My son and I love travelling. We are incredibly lucky to have a beach house only 2 hours away.
I am an avid reader and gardener.

This was the break I needed and the house was exactly what I wanted - rustic, quiet, well stocked (with great books and movies) and all the kitchen bits n pieces you could want. The big bonus was no internet or phone access - digital detox! Allowed me to completely relax. Will definitely be back.
that's great Lorna; it is definitely a great place to revive the spirit
We had a lovely stay at Suzanne's cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and the barbeque was great. We also really enjoyed the fireplace, and the range of games that were on hand. You can see the beach from the house, and there are lots of lovely walks close by. The two rooms in the house were very comfortable - our only comment was that the third room outside was colder, a bit musty and not as comfortable as the two double bedrooms. Overall, though, we had a great stay. Thanks Suzanne for being very helpful with local advice!
Depot Beach was an experience. The environment is just wonderful. By the house at every moment of the day, you see wonderful birds and kangaroo. The beach is just fantastic. While Depot Beach is a remote place in a National Park with nearest town 18 Kms away, it is worthwhile stopping here for some time. Suzanne was very nice though we did not meet. She provided us with useful information. The house is simple. We lacked somehow the absence of Internet and phone connection. It is I guess the price to pay when one wants to stay close to exclusive and remote places. Thanks for very thing Suzanne.
