We are from Southern California and visit Baltimore ever summer where we have family and always like to come to NYC for a couple of nights
My family stayed at Glenda's home for the long Thanksgiving weekend and couldn't have been happier. The home is charming, well-appointed, and the large, open great room/kitchen/bar area is perfect for socializing. The beds are comfortable, the pool and jacuzzing inviting, and the mountain views beautiful. As other reviewers have noted, the home is very conveniently located, with dining, shopping, and other activities a short drive away. Furthermore, Glenda was very professional, and we had absolutely no issues during our stay. It was a wonderful vacation. Thanks Glenda!
Charming rental. Decorator touches throughout. Great for entertaining with very nice large and small kitchen appliances, dishes, flatware, cooking utensils as well as more than ample linens for all bedrooms. Nice pool, spa, patio setting with complete privacy from golf course. Owners built nice ramps for better wheelchair access. Very thoughtful in all ways. Convenient for shopping, restaurants, and near other desert cities. Pleasant month for us and we'd be glad to return.
My family and I just spent four amazing nights at Glenda's beautiful home in La Quinta. We could not have asked for a better experience. The house and location are perfect, and Glenda herself was incredibly helpful and responsive when we contacted her during our stay.
Upon arrival, we were easily able to enter with the access codes given to us by Glenda. While we were initially expecting something nice, the place was even better than anticipated. The pictures don't do it justice. From the high ceilings to the luxurious pool and hot tub to the bar in the living room, the entire house is open and classy. The house was well stocked, and while we bought our own groceries to prepare, everything else was provided.
A few times during our stay, we had to reach Glenda. One time involved us locking ourselves out of the house. Every time, though, Glenda was quick, responsive, and helpful. She is great, and I cannot recommend her home highly enough!
The house is beautiful - it beat my high expectations. The gated neighborhood is secluded but very close to downtown and La Quinta resort Each bedroom had it's own private bathroom and comfortable beds. The living area, which had a huge couch, wet bar, and kitchen were spacious and looked out to the pool and golf course. The dining room table looked beautiful when we set it for Christmas dinner. The outside area felt like another room, and the daily dips in the pool and hot tub made the vacation worth while. There were a couple of small issues, but the host was available by cell and solved them immediately. I would love to stay here again - the house felt like a luxurious resort.
We booked this amazing home to celebrate a birthday weekend and it exceeded our expectations. Everything is top of the line, including the bed and bedding, we slept so well, the gourmet kitchen has everything you could ever need including a huge selection of spices/oils, you name it, it's sure to be there. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi with the mountain backdrop is really spectacular, you will never want to leave. The quaint & lovely old town of La Quinta is a short drive away, were you will find a fabulous coffee shop, a popular hangout and a great selection of dining spots. This is a great home to rent if you want luxury surroundings, great hiking trails close by and the added bonus of a gated community. WE LOVED IT, LOOK NO FURTHER FOR YOUR DESERT GETAWAY...Thanks Glenda For Everything.
I stay in this gorgeous place every time I get to the desert which is usually 2 or 3 times a year. It's like living in a resort with the open view and private pool and patio, it's perfect on the occasions I like a little quiet time by myself and it equally ideal for a small group or to entertain. I really don't like to leave this impeccably maintained home . . . I know most people go for the golf and tennis but I go to relax and read my book by the pool and go on extended hikes in the mountains or drive up to Joshua Tree National Park which is magical.
You won't be disappointed with this little piece of paradise in the desert, thanks Glenda and Joe for sharing your home.
