We apologise for Lila's unhappiness with the unexpected construction noise as this change took place extremely recently. We were unable to inform Lila of this fresh change of scenery in time and have since removed "quiet" from the description.
Regarding the air conditioning, we did not list the room as being air-conditioned. It is stated clearly in our amenities.
All the taps in our house are mixer taps and they offer both hot and cold water. It takes just a few seconds for the water to run warm.
There are photos which clearly represented the size of the bathroom and washroom. We do apologise for the space constraint Lila has encountered.
Following the mirror debacle and subsequent inability to reach a friendly compromise - despite hearing our reasons for why we would prefer she not enter our room any time she pleased Lila still insisted that as a guest our room mirror was part of her entitled amenities - Lila offered to leave. It was the first time this had happened.
She left with much unhappiness and as hosts who often go the extra mile to make our guests happy, we are sad that we couldn't meet her expectations.
One last note, the previous reviews were left by genuine guests whom we have hosted and it is not very nice to insinuate that they aren't of existence or otherwise. They are real people with whom we had real bonds and this is the spirit of airbnb.
We read the review written by Lila's last host and again would like to encourage Lila to read each host's listings more carefully and make the right requests before picking a place.
We encourage also future hosts to read her reviews on previous hosts and Lila's host reviews prior to accepting reservation to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
We look at the positive experiences and wish Lila all the very best with no hard feelings.
