opis bardzo precyzyjny, gospodarz błyskawicznie odpowiada, lokal godny polecenia
Had a great time in Richies place, the location is incredible, easy access to the tube and nearby covent garden/piccadilly circus. Highly recommended!
Richie's apartment was awesome! Great location and the room and bathroom were clean. I and my friend had a great time in London! Thanks a lot! :)
Look no further than Richie's place for a perfect introduction to London! I've been to London once but never quite had the same feeling as staying here.
The location is legendary. You'll only realise that when you are brought to your room and Richie points to the map on the wall where you will see his almost-proud (as he's such a jolly good fella!) compass drawing of the "10-min walk" circle and radius from where he lives - which probably encompasses 50% of wherever you want to go in London. He's not lying when he says that he's had people stay for a week and not take a single train as everywhere of interest is walkable. And that's where you wanna stay as the London Tube and Bus services have strikes/shutdowns as often as you experience rain and drizzle in the winter season! Of course, the Tube/Train station is like "1 MINUTE" away ... and there are so many popular F&B establishments, drinking spots, patisseries, breakfast/coffee places .. with a Salisbury grocery store a minute away as well. I was also personally delighted to find Steiner house just 2-3 mins away!
Just the location to price ratio alone pays you back many times over ... which is impossible to find in this part of Central London (just try searching if you don't believe!). However, I think what we'll definitely come back for is the feeling of being part of a cozy little apartment, where a true blue Brit and gentleman that is Richie brings to you. Hands up if you prefer friendly, casual and humourous conversations/exchanges VERSUS deliberate and rehearsed "holiday" service. Although there is a bit of a theme going for the room, he doesn't purposely "decorate" or "prepare" it in such a way that you feel you are a tourist staying in a "holiday room" - in short, it feels just like home.
Even though Richie was busy on our last night in London (and we had to leave in the wee hours of the following morning), he made the time out to have a good chat with us in the room and broke open a well-aged Bordeaux wine even though he's not really one of those drinkers (it's really to offer us a great gift).
I'm pretty darn sure you can't find such hospitality, privacy (as he doesn't have multiple rooms like other BnBs), coziness and unparalleled convenience all in one - much less at this price point!
Thank you Richie, we'll be back! :)
Bloody hell what an excellent review! Nice one Clarence, it was a pleasure.
Perfect location at Richie's appartement! Room realy clean! And there are a lot of places to take the breakfast, realy Nice!
We were warmly welcomed by Richie, the room was as described and we received plentiful advice on what to do with our time in Theatreland. My only regret is that we were out of the house when Richie was filming one of his famous magic videos, and could not star in said video. Thanks very much for a great stay.
Richie was very welcoming, we let him know we wanted to arrive early and drop off our bags, and he was fine with that. The neighbourhood is very central and great for Theatreland as long as you can walk ok. Worth knowing there are several flights of stairs just in case you find stairs difficult.
The flat is very close to a lot of London attractions and just a stone's throw from the tube. Richie was helpful and accommodating. However, I would not recommend the flat if you're a light sleeper as it's quite loud at night due to location.
Richie is a nice guy and we had a good time staying with him.
I canreally recommed staying with him, the neighbourhood is great, location is unbeatable (for the price!) and you can walk to most sightseeing stops. Only slightly negative thing was that I found the room to be a little full with the sofa. But alas, if there is no sofa - where would you sit right? ;)
This was my first Airbnb experience, and already, it has set the bar high. Richie was a fantastic host - while I hardly saw him during my stay, he was very welcoming, flexible and easy to contact. He graciously made himself available for any info/assistance (about the room, about directions, if I was lost wandering around the city) during my time in London and since I was traveling alone for a short trip, this was much appreciated!
The building was nice and easy to find and the room was clean, well stocked with proper English tea, guide maps and a mini fridge. I'd say the vibe and size of the room is probably best suited for single travelers or a couple of friends looking for a laid back experience.
And of course, the location is a main highlight - superb, central and incredibly accessible. Not much more I could ask for! I would stay here again during my next stop through in London, without hesitation.
