What an awesome little spot on the main drive through Jerome! It is quirky and makes you feel as though you are back in the early 1900s with the wood floors, wood-beamed ceiling, and antique furniture. It was a perfect place to relax for a weekend away from big city life and very convenient to walk to all the main highlights in Jerome. I have already recommended it to a friend!
What an incredible space. I'm not going to reiterate all the details already covered in previous reviews. Suffice it to say that when we return to Jerome again, we don't intend to stay anywhere else! Thanks, Wendy!

Sorry, tech problem. Really want Chris to stay, but full those dates.
The Cottage and Wendy were great. Wendy called as we were driving up to Jerome to let us know that both levels of the house were available and we could pick, so we upgraded for free. We ended up in the Artist's Loft, but checked out both levels and both were adorable. The house had a kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils needed and a grill upstairs on the deck so we were able to make our own steaks one night and look out over the Verde Valley while we ate at the living room window under the chandelier. The little bed nook was so cozy I totally want to go back in the winter to appreciate it, but this was a nice way to escape the Phoenix heat for a weekend in the summer, too! There were porches out front and side decks on each level as well as a tree swing to sit on and enjoy the view or some local wine!
We arrived in the evening, and Wendy was accommodating. We appreciated her kindness in pointing out local restaurants and even telling us when they stopped serving. The miner's cottage was both charming and spacious. We loved the many antique pieces and accents. Of the numerous Airbnb places we have stayed, this was my favorite.
What a great historic home. So close to center of Jerome and close to all the amazing entertainment of the Verde Valley. Wendy was a great host and great on keeping in touch. The entire stay was so easy and enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Jerome.
If you are in Jerome, you must stay here. Even if you're passing through spending an evening at Wendy's place is simply divine. The view from the porch is breathtaking. Watching the sun set and rise in the red rock canyon was a real treat. You can have an outdoor shower or a soak in the bath. There's also a place outside to sit with a fire. Really everything you need and more only a stones throw from Sedona.
This is a really lovely place! There are charming touches everywhere--a tree bench swing, an outdoor shower, a porch that has a GREAT view of the valley below, and the list goes on. You will be a short walk away from all the fun Jerome has to offer. =D
The Miner's Cottage is great! Pictures really don't do this place justice. My wife and I have stayed at over a half dozen different hotels and Airbnb rentals in Jerome and this, by far, is our favorite place. We will be staying here from now on. Wendy is lovely and very accommodating. Can't recommend the Miner's Cottage enough.
1st experience using AirBNB. Wendy's Miner's Cottage was well appointed. She set up and answered all our questions thru emails. It's on the 2nd level, has a back and front patio porch. The living room is very comfortable. The mile high-views of Sedona from her living room and front porch are amazing. The home is a period house w/wood floors, comfortable furniture, flatscreen w/Dish satellite & available wifi. You are positioned close to
Shops, restaurants and much of Jerome's action.
Wendy is easy to work with and a great guest.
