I am from Copenhagen - Denmark.... More will follow soon
Kenneth's apartment could not be more conveniently located or comfortably furnished. My wife and two daughters stayed a full week (visiting a third daughter) and felt right at home. Kenneth met us upon arrival and gave great advice for shopping, dining and getting around. Also answered multiple questions about Copenhagen prior to us even arriving.
The apartment location, as described, is fantastic. On a canal directly across from Parliament, it truly is located in the heart and most beautiful area of Copenhagen. It is located close to absolutely everything, including less than a block away from the beautify square at the intersection of CPN's walking street, Strøget. The immediate area is filled with great restaurants, cafés, and shops, and an easy stroll over to the canals in Nyhavn, picturesquely lined with boats and old houses. Location is clearly its strong point.
The apartment is on the second floor and like almost all CPN apts (esp. one that is over 200 years old) , requires you to carry luggage up the stairs. The main bedroom has a queen bed and ample hanging/drawers, and quiet since it is located away from the street. The second is a nice size office with a double bed, and pretty quiet since the street is narrow and located along the canal. Beds were very comfortable. The apartment was clean and, while functional, is spartanly furnished. The modest single bathroom is located at the end of the hall, as is the very functional kitchen. During our stay, however, significant work is being done in the area, including the canal walls and creation of a metro stop, and the active machinery was right outside the window. Construction noise was less a problem than the wall that was erected that blocked the entire view.
Kenneth was a fantastic host. Timely responded to inquiries prior to our arrival and dealt quickly and effectively with the one internet issue that arose. His instructions of how to get from airport to apartment were great and, in an unexpected surprise, not only met us upon our arrival but took us on a quick walking tour of the immediate area to help us gain our bearings as well as locate coffee shops and restaurants.
Conclusion: If you are looking for a truly prime location from which to explore this wonderful city, this apartment has it.

Wow, what an amazing place! Our family of five (three young kids, two adults) stayed at Kenneth's apartment for three nights. Kenneth was a great host and took the time to give me a quick tour of the neighborhood to point out the highlights right after we arrived. The apartment is in a primo location and is a very comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended!
Kenneth was a fantastic host. He was easy to get in touch with and provided loads of information about the area. The apartment itself is wonderful—clean, well-designed and in the perfect location. We were walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do, and the neighborhood had so much charm. The only surprise was the construction happening on the canal; it was a shame to miss out on what must have been an incredible view. Regardless, we felt right at home, and can't wait to return to Copenhagen!
It was wonderful to have the chance to stay in Kenneth's apartment, On arrival Kenneth met us and gave us a guided tour, leaving us feeling very much at home. Kenneth also, showed us to best places nearby to eat any buy great food and left printed directions to the metro etc.The apartment is an ideal location for all the central attractions in Copenhagen, all in walking distance. The apartment has plenty of light and space and made for a very comfortable week.
Kenneth's place is incredible. It's in the most prime location in Copenhagen, overlooking the Christiansborg Palace (Danish Parliament). When we arrived, Kenneth met us at the subway stop and showed us the neighborhood, including some favorite shops and where to buy groceries. He also told us about all the events happening in the city (Gumball 3000, Carnival, Marathon).
The apartment was immaculate and historic. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to hang out in the living room. Kenneth was available via text to provide top local recommendations for food or drink within a few minutes. I would stay here again and again and again.
A coworker and I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights when we were in Copenhagen for work (all the hotels in Copenhagen were full due to Eurovision). We only met Kenneth briefly but he was very helpful and gave us plenty of info about the area.
The apartment was very nice and spacious, and compared quite favorably to a hotel (other than that I had to share a bathroom with my coworker). The apartment is extreemly well located and has some good resturaunts nearby.
Overall we were very satisfied - only negative point was that directly in front of the apartment they are doing a huge construction work (apparently on the canal). We were gone all day and there was no noise issues at night, but the otherwise beautiful view from the dining room window was a bit spoiled.
Kenneth and his familly was very nice guest. Respectful and easy communication. It will be a pleasure to host them again & again!
