Hi, my name is Sofia, I'm 20 years old and I'm studying dance. Me and my sister Raquel love to welcome people at our place and help them falling in love with Lisboa! I speak fluently English and a bit of Spanish.
Sofia is a very nice person. But I found the appartment a little bit too far from the center...
Raquel is a wonderful person and the perfect host: she has a lot of information and helpful advise about Lisbon and she can perfectly speak a lot of languages. The apartment was clean and warm, close to the subway and Sete Rios bus station. I would certainly call back if I was planning to be in Lisbon again.
We had a little bit of trouble finding the place but once we found it we had a very comfortable stay! Raquel was very helpful, gave us tips on what to see and a map, and helped us figure out how to get around..
Thanks for having us!
Aurora and Will
My stay with Raquel was my first experience with airbnb and it was a great one! Raquel is definitely a great host, she picked me up and dropped me off at the airport, explained everything about the city plus providing a map at the beginning. She is a really nice person, her house is clean, the room is spacious, and made me feel like home since the first time I stepped into her place. Muito obrigada, Raquel. You definitely made my nice stay in Lisbon even nicer :) I won't hesitate to go to your place again when I come back to Lisbon. Who knows? ;) Keep in touch!
Raquel is an amazing host. Her apartment is cozy, we have spent the 2 first night in the room and the last one in the living room but we have some privacy and the sofa is really comfortable!! Her apartment has a good location close to the airport and close to the center by metro.
Raquel gave us much information on Lisbon and towns surroundings.
She is very smiling and kind, all her advices were very helpful.
It is a nice place to stay with. Raquel wasn't available when I arrived. She was so kind and asked her sister Teresa to pick me up at the airport, showed me around the flat and told me everything about Lisbon, She was very kind to provide a city map, unfortunately you cant get a free map from the airport.
The room is nice and very cozy and clean. Though we didn't talk much, Raquel respected me a lot. It was a good stay though a bit far away from the nearest metro station.
I didn't stay here, but my friend did. She really liked the nice bright room. The fact that there was a couch-surfer renting the couch to sleep made it a bit uncomfortable to use or go throught the living room. My friend really loved talking to Rachel and wished she had more time to do so, and she liked the Retro/Vintage decor. The apt had a musty smell, but otherwise was very clean. It should also be noted to light sleepers that this neighbourhood very close to the flight path of airport planes landing or taking off.
Raquel's home was a perfect place for my stay!. I felt very comfortable and Raquel made an amazing host. The apartment is in a peaceful location. And be sure to ask her beforehand the shortest path to reach her home via railway bridge besides her home when you arrive in Lisbon. Raquel also provided tips on travelling around the city.
I had been to Lisbon for a summer school at Instituto Superior Técnico. The only problem I faced was that the closest metro to reach the Instituto Superior Técnico was 15-20 mins walk.
