We stayed 5 nights in Jenni 's house, the house is very warm and pretty , our room have 2 big comfortable beds ,and a wonderful (email hidden)e location is also good for us ,15 mins walk to the subway station.Every monring Holly makes western breakfast for us, it's very tasty.
Living in jenni's house is a good experience in our Beijing-trip.
Great stay at Jenni's. Unfortunately, she was not in Beijing when we stayed at her home, however Holly (her friend) was very welcoming and helpful, and provided delicious breakfasts every day.
Living in Jenni's house is an enjoyable experience which you not only have access to nice, homemade breakfast, but also feel welcomed in a safe and cozy space. Speaking of transportation, you may take the metro. But according to my experience, it's more convenient to travel by bus first. It's only a three-mins walk from the apartment to the nearest bus station where you are able to choose from multiple lines. Btw, you will meet a tiny, little(and super cute) dog called oven in Jenni's house. :)
We have been in this apartment for four nights, 2 adults and 2 children. The location is in good neighborhood and 10-15 minutes walking from subway. The apartment had all the needed facilities and the breakfast were good. The addad value is that since Jenni teaches English, there were friendly people there that speak English and on our first day took us out to see the city.
Holly, Jenni's friend that hosted us, was very friendly and took care for every question or request we had.
I stayed here for 2 nights with 4 friends and we had an amazing time! Jenni's friend, Holly was so sweet and helpful and she made the best zucchini bread. Great location and quality of accommodations.
We had a brilliant stay and were looked after with warm hospitality. Breakfast was a highlight with freshly brewed coffee, fruit and fresh baking every morning. An oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the city.
Jenni was super responsive and helpful from the start and made my solo (first time) journey to Beijing such a pleasant one. :)
I came to China just to stay for a year, met the Johnsons, and now after falling in love with Beijing, I consider them my family AND a huge part of why I enjoy being here. It must be that special southern hospitality we all love ;)
They are very friendly, welcoming, and genuine. I've NEVER left their place hungry. Every time I've slept over, they've always tended to any needs I had. Jenni's gift is hosting, TJ's great at serving, and Nate and Noah do a super job of entertaining. How brilliant is that?
While I was in China I was able to stay with Jenni and her family. They are a warm loving family to stay with. You will be sure to laugh a lot, listen to great music, and have a wonderful time! Jenni is also a fabulous cook! Staying wit Jenni was such a great home away from home experience for me. I love her and her sweet family and I'm sure you will too!
Staying with Jenni and TJ is like staying in your house, but one that is across the other side of the world! It is a fun and lively home, where you can expect good food, good company, and a nice place to stay. Easy to find, with a subway at a 10 min walk distance. I'm sitting here tryind to describe in a short paragraph what it is like to stay with them, but I can't, I can only say that it is a great experience, but it is one you have to come and experience yourself.
I absolutely loved my time with Jenni & TJ! They made me feel right at home. It was so nice to experience the east with plenty of familiar amenities from the west! And, more than anything, their warm hospitality made the experience perfect.
The Johnson's and I know each other through friends in China. I love my memories staying at their house. It is a great place. It is clean, especially for China. The Johnson's are super nice and T.J. is an astounding cook. Jenny... maybe not so much, but she is the life of the party. I never felt unwelcome, even when I wasn't staying at their place. They have the true southern hospitality. The fact that they are honest people that want to care for others is also something to mention and it is just the tip of the iceberg. Thanks for all the good times. I highly recommend the Johnson's to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.
