Vive e lavora a Roma/Italia.
We liked our apartment very much. Everything was as described, big enough for 4 people and close to the Vatican. The bus stop was practically in front of the building and it took us all across the city.
The reserved parking space was a deal breaker and it didn't disappoint.
Maggie (email hidden) and told us everything we wanted to know.
We would recommend it to our friends!
Maggie's apartment did not disappoint us. It is centrally located relatively close to the Vatican.
Very important for us was that the parking lot is right at home. The apartment is clean and well equipped, with complete kitchen, air conditioning, internet access. It is also suitable for a longer stay in Rome.
Maggie has been a very gracious host and gave us lots of tips for Rome. We will come back!
Staying in apartment 'Sweet Dreams Romans' is like living in a house of friends, so personal and cosy with plants, a washing machine and a complete kitchen with everything you need for cooking, including oven dishes to make lasagna. Other rooms are completely provided as well: from sheets to washing powder to shampoo to tooth paste and bandaids. The rooms are spacious. We also loved the patio area with the sun screen and spent quite some time outdoors. The apartment is surprisingly cool and shady, sometimes even chilly while it was 25-30 degrees Celsius outside! Such a bonus. The apartment was located on the ground floor Our 20-month old daughter travelled with us, and the cot and stroller provided were very convenient. The stroller is more sturdy and has bigger wheels than our own back home, so perfect for the sometimes very uneven Roman pavements and high curbs. Sheets and a comfy mattress were provided with the cot. Our daughter loved playing in the patio, it was very safe. Maggie indeed (email hidden), and the photos of the apartment are spot on.The apartment is in a nice neighbourhood, close to public transport, supermarkets Tuodi and Elite, farmacies and, convenient for us, a baby store (Prenatal) where you can buy anything you need from clothing to strollers, and a childrens shoe shop (Bimbo Loco). We really appreciated the welcoming package with crackers, yoghurts and juice. A few times we needed Maggies assistance before and during our stay, and she responded adequately, quickly and friendly. As in every home, there are also some (minor) minusses: - Outdoor noise: the road is busy, and the dumpsters at the side of the road are emptied every night. Although the apartment is at the back of the building you could hear this, and the traffic. But Rome is not a quiet city anywhere. Just bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, the patio of the apartment is located right above the Hertz car rental, so there are some exhaust fumes and car wash sounds (car stereo, high-pressure cleaner, etc.) to be expected. - Indoor noise: you can hear the neighbours' TV in the bedroom and talking in the hall. Our daughter slept through it, but if you are a light sleeper and like to go to bed early, bring ear plugs and/or sleep on the sofa. - Bathroom: you could only shower with the shower head in your hand (wall hook is lame), and there was some leakage from a vault in the floor when you empty the bath. There's warm water for about 2 long shower sessions at a time, so the 3rd person could run out of hot water. In general: buy bus tickets the day before: especially on Sundays / National Holidays it could take a while before you find any store that is open and has supply, but the Tabacchi nextdoor is often out of bus tickets Mon-Sat too. "Sweet Dreams Romans", a pleasant surprise! Enjoy...
Maggie beautiful mistress. It was a pleasure to communicate, are also very nice to get a compliment as yoghurts, fresh water and biscuits in the fridge :) Our little machine was placed (email hidden) in the window of the apartment (apartment on the 1st floor). It was very useful, because it is difficult to think about Parking in a strange city. The Vatican to walk about 10-15 minutes to the centre of Rome 20-25, if you take the time or you can go by bus, they are frequent. Near the apartment there are several pizzerias and shops, the apartment is clean, comfortable, not noisy. Recommend the apartment is especially convenient to remove two pairs, and it is comfortable and profitable.
P.S. We were very grateful to the hostess for help with printing tickets Samolet (needed a printer). She had printed out and brought us the tickets the day before departure.
The apartment was exactly as it is described in the advertisement. It was perfectly prepared and clean. It enables us to spend great week in Rome with whole family (2 adults and 2 children). We even were able to park our car in private parking slot next to apartment. Contact with Maggie was fast and effective.
Overall - I fully recommend Maggie apartment!
Muy buen apartamento, esta bien ubicado, y las instalaciones en general están muy bien, la pasamos muy bien con mi familia y Maggy Anselmo es muy amable y servicial me ha caído muy bien..
Recomiendo el apartamento!!
Absolutely positive experience I had with Maggie and her apartment. The locality was really splendid and so was the service that we were provided with. We were 4 people traveling only with really small bags and it was extremely helpful to find all you need and even more. Very comfortable and clean, well equipped, sunny big apartment. I also appreciate the great communication and flexibility.
Maggie's apartment was perfect for my family's stay in Rome. I thought it was amazing that it came with a backyard parking spot, something I feel like is an extreme rarity in such a city. The apartment was right next to Vatican City, and only a 30-40 minute walk to the center of Rome. There was a Chinese restaurant down the street, which was refreshing after two weeks of eating Italian food. My family and I ate lunch there for three consecutive days. Maggie also provided many delicious snacks in her kitchen including yogurts, juices, croissants, and pies. The only downside about the apartment is that the walls are not very soundproof, but luckily we were on the backside of the building, away from the main street. We heard some neighbors' conversations and the occasional car wash outside, but overall it did not disrupt our sleep. We had a spectacular time staying in Maggie's apartment, and I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Rome!
Maggie's apartment is clean and spacious, with a firm but comfortable bed and sofa bed. The kitchen was stocked with snacks, juice, water and milk, and the washing machine worked a treat! The instructions for how to reach the apartment were incredibly detailed and made things very easy for us, and Maggie's assistant Marbel was easy to contact, and was very friendly and prompt in checking us in and out. We did find it a little bit annoying getting to and from the apartment from the city, particularly in the evening, as you have to get a bus from the metro station and they were not always that frequent. If you're only in Rome for a short time it may be more convenient to stay closer to a metro stop, but it is a very good apartment with excellent facilities.
We had a great time in Maggie's apartment especially due to its location. Conveniently near the Vatican city. There are lots of restaurants around, and (email hidden).
We had some problems when we arrived as we had no information about which exact name to look for and Maggie didn't pick her phone for almost 1 and a half hours. Later we realised it was someone else who had to let us in and she was very nice and took care of us. The apartment is functional and looks exactly like it shows in the pictures.
If you're going to Rome, don't miss the oportunity to stay at Maggie's! She's a lovely, graceful person and the apartment is just the best. You sure won't regret!
Pessoa responsavel, simpatica, gentil, disponivel e de muita confiança.
