I'm from LA but lived in SF for many years. I love to play beach volleyball and hike in this area!

This is a small villa up the hill from a large beach that spans five cities. The villa itself is small, but modern and clean. It's perfect for travelers stopping through or who aren't looking to spend the entire day where they're staying, but either heading to the beach or elsewhere.
Great place and location, the bathroom is very lovely with a nice bath and a stone wall, a fireplace in the livingroom and access to the outside area. Thank you Juliet!
The room was pleasant and clean. We liked being so close to the beach and having our own private entrance. It was a bit bare boned, and we didn't know what to make of the TV that had no cable connection but otherwise it was as expected.
Our room was exactly as described, plus only a 15 min walk to the closest beach ! Juliet is a very accommodating host. I would visit again !
Great place to stay, really enjoyed our time!
For a short stay was the room o.k. I missed a kitchen and a heater.
I would not recommend this. This is not what you should expect from an Airbnb place. It was dirty (hairs in the sheets) and smelly, the room is totaly dark if the sun is not shining, internet was not working. The outside was a total mess. We felt very uncomfortable.
This was a lovely experience! It was a quaint cottage in the backyard. The interior was hospitable and contemporary in theme. Juliet left a bottle of wine for us, which was lovely! There's an expandable table available. Its nice to know that because it doesn't look like there is one in the photos.
Juliet does provide plates and bowls for your convenience. While the kitchen isn't a full kitchen, we did notice that there were hot plates underneath the sink, so presumably you could cook yourself a simple breakfast if you wanted to.
Location is a definite plus! It is minutes off of the 101, and walking distance to downtown and the beach (for us anyways, fit 20 somethings).
We would definitely stay here again when life brings us back to the San Luis Obispo area.
Juliet's place was perfect for the evening. I didn't have the opportunity to meet her in person but the wine and coffee were much appreciated.
Julia was a great host. She provided everything we needed and we loved the little town she stays in! She gave us great suggestions for places to eat and made sure to make our stay in Grover beach a pleasant one
It was such a pleasure having Juliet and Thomas stay at our Carmel Valley house. They were the perfect guests in all ways and were also super friendly. They left the room in immaculate condition, were extremely clean and considerate, not to mention great fun to talk to. They are welcome back anytime and I highly recommend them as guests.
