Paolo is a fantastic host. They're very nice and welcoming, and made me feel right at home. The bed is comfortable and spacious. They live out of the touristy way, but a great place to get a different but real Rome experience. It's easy to get into the center of the city, but can take some time.
The place was very pleasant, a little far from the city centre but very close to the tram station so there was no issue with transport. It was also clean and well-equipped with the necessary facilities. Nice neighbourhood as well!
I had a really great stay. The family was actually away was Christmas but everything in the home was perfect for me with a lot of convenient shops and transport nearby. And I was able to contact them with any queries. I highly recommend this b&b.
My time with Paolo and Donatella is one that I will never forget. They invited me to be a part of their lives but also gave me the space that I needed. The flat is small but cozy and they've recently added new doors to both the bathroom and guest room, which look great! Plus, the outdoor scaffolding is now gone as well!
Their kids, Dario and Teresa, are adorable and I absolutely loved spending time with them. My time at Paolo and Donatella's flat greatly enhanced my experience in Rome. In fact, I loved it so much that I came back and stayed a 2nd time! This is a great family to stay with!!
.....and new stairways are coming.....we will have to change...Dario and Teresa's castle!
Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen, die beiden geben sich große mühe damit man sich Wohlfühlt, inklusive Willkomenskuchen. Gute Bus und Bahnanbindung um in die Innenstadt zukommen.
Thanks for the cake! And Donatella and Paolo helped us to heal our son, who was sick on the road. Donatella gave us an inhaler. We called the doctor and Donatella helped us with the translation.
Paolo and Donatella are awesome people: they welcomed us with a tasteful "Welcome cake" and explained us everything we needed about Rome.
About the place: the room's quite small and their place isn't the Hilton hotel (neither is the prize!), but if you are planning a short stay, it's really enough. It takes about 25 min to the city center (5 by bus + 15 by metro), but there are several bus and night bus passing near their flat.
In the end, for this money, I would totally recommend this host!
Very kind people with lovely kids, we had nice time at their place.
Thank you for the welcoming cake!
Paolo and Donatella were nice and helpful, and they will try to help you (with information, directions, etc.) in any way they can. The bed was a sofa bed, but it was quite comfortable. Internet was unstable though, and the bathroom door was broken. Hot water stops running after 10 minutes or so, so you need to be quick. It was a good bargain after all. Oh, and welcome cake upon arrival!!
Jenny, probably someone opened the water while you were taking your shower, because hot water arrives directly from city pipes and never ends: benefits of the absence of boiler!
Donatella and Paolo is a great host. We get and use anything what we need. The room is not too big, but enough to sleep and stay at night. The house a little bit old, but have anything what you need.
The kids are very cute and energetic.
We spend a great week here. Thank you everything.
