I am a special needs teacher living with my 15 year old son. We live in a 4 bed semi detached red brick 1930s house 5km from Dublin city centre. The house is 10 minutes from the city on the bus.
Elva was a wonderful host. Always greeted me when I arrived back at her house with a cup of tea.. which was wonderful after a cold day of walking around Dublin! The house was clean and cozy. The house was cold, but Elva emailed me before I left the states to let me know to pack warm clothes.
Very short walk to the bus stop that takes you into the city centre. There is a grocery store down the road and a pub next door. Very quiet neighborhood and quiet house.
Excellent place to stay! Thanks Elva!
If you're looking for a cheap but a clean room, here is the place to go. Elva is a really nice and interesting person. Her house is located in a quiet area 15min by walk from the LUAS. Bus are also available just in front of the door if you need to reach easily the center. I really recommend!
I had an enjoyable stay. My own keys, so I could come and go whenever I wanted. Could wash my stuff. 10 min by bus to the city-center and good recommendations of what to do in Dublin.
She is very helpful and take responsible and very friendly.
She will give a hand if you need some help.
Thanks for a good service Elva, and good luck.
The local is base to center and you have access to everything.
Nice area with lot of different option to get you to Dublin center by public transport.
Im stayed one night in Elvas house and she was a perfect/nice host.
