I originated in British Columbia, Canada where outdoor living was and remains an integral and essential part of my existence. My day is not complete without an outside moment to connect with nature's spirituality. Our house is built to reflect this necessity. I have spent time traveling and working in other countries and what was essential to me was to connect with the essence of the culture. The places I choose to stay are off the beaten path; A Monastery, a basement suite, or a B & B. My husband and I are vegan, motivated by sharing our life with dogs, a concern for our planet, and the health of its individuals. I love to cook and we offer our guests little surprises from the kitchen! A significant part of the time spent with guests is about food. A dear friend recently told me, "Anyone who says "there's no place like home" hasn't stayed with you." We like to welcome people into our space, to offer them comfort, nurturing, and peace. My life motto is reflected in the words of Emerson: "Live in the Sunshine, Swim the Sea, Drink the Wild Air." Welcome to our Desert Oasis!
