Nightmare in Manhattan!!
Our family (2 adults and baby, small dog) staid in this apartment for 2 weeks in the beginning of February.
The only thing we like is location, price, and opportunity to stay with dog.
+ perfect location, near grocery stores, pharmacies, bars, cafes, restaurants, 15 minutes to subway, 20 min to Central park and museums, nearby park(on 84th st. – Carl Schurz), place for dog walk, for children play, there is a laundry round the corner.
- VERY dirty, dust everywhere (under beds, in kitchen, in bathroom), in bathtub we found up hair of previous tenants, also under bed there are bottles. Poor heating system in apartment and cold wind blowing from the windows, the result is too cold in apartment. Too old furniture.
On the pictures apartment looks much better than in reality, tiny, we did not understand what for Natasha put one more bed in living room.
We had some problems with apartment during our stay. Pipe in kitchen and bathroom clogged, Natasha quickly sent to us repairmen, but we had to communicate with him, Natasha did not showed up. Also in kitchen the bulb burned out, Natasha also left us alone with this problem.
This is good app for price, we paid ($85/per night) to stay for some nights in NY for sightseeing, but I would not recommend to anyone!!
Natasha should pay more attention to apartment she rent out, check cleanliness, condition in apartment, is everything work properly.
Apartment was nice, no frills but very good value for the area. Apartment is clean, and could easily sleep 4+ which is nice (I was only one so it didn't matter). But is right across from Webster Hall, so can get a little loud.
Keys are picked up/dropped off from a cafe a few blocks away, which could be a bit more convenient, but Natasha let me check out late, and was flexible on pickup.
All in all good experience, and I'd stay there again. Nothing fancy (no toilet paper when I arrived), but good location for a good price.
The location was perfect, and I loved the loft bed. There are lots of cafes, restaurants, grocery shopping, all within walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is well located, it was clean and pleasant. It was a particularly cold week and a space heater would have been useful, but other than that, no complaints. Thanks!
Nice apartment in a quiet area. Close to grocery stores. 10-15 minute walk from the 6 subway. Close to the East River, which had a good running path.
Natasha wasn't great at communicating before we got there and we never met her. We ended up getting the keys from the people who were there before us and giving them to the people after us. She allowed us to drop off our suitcases early and pick up our suitcases late when the cleaner was there, so that we didn't have to take them all over the city that day.
The apartment was not quite as clean as the pictures show, but there were two real beds (one of which is not shown in pictures). The apartment was cold at times, but the space had plenty of blankets.
There was no extra toilet paper, so we had to buy some, and we had to rewash some of the "clean" dishes, but we had everything else we needed. The wifi was easy to hook up to and the tv worked fine (although we didn't use it much).
This space is a great value for the cost. That being said, I would probably spend more for a nicer place next time. The apartment its self it nice and fairly clean but the building hallways are pretty run down.
The location is central and it's easy to get around from here. The apartment is right across from a music venue so if rowdy drunk people filing out of the venue at 3am is going to bother you, that is defiantly something to consider. I'm a sound sleeper so it didn't bother me but I could see it bothering others.
Great and efficient communication with Natasha.
Good location, quiet, shops around. 10-15 mins away from line 6 subway.
The apartment looks better in picture. It is not that clean, slightly cold (building heating) and details like no toilet paper when walking in was a bit embarrassing.
Good deal but you are getting JUST what you are paying for.
Nice apartment close to bars, grocery stores and great restaurant (I loved Flight and Salvo's Pizzabar, great food and great people, felt like home) Quiet and really nice neighborhood, Natasha was also really reactive, made our trip as easier a possible, just one point about the heater, the last 4 days the temperature has dropped quite hard in Manhattan and the heater was quite effective but thanks to the many blankets that Natasha left at the apartment it was finally all good.
Thanks Natasha . We spended a very good times at The apt . Best location .
