I had a lovely time in Bath staying at Shelley's. The location and house are great and Shelley is a warm and welcoming host. I would most definitely stay again in the future.
Shelley and her very cute dog Lola were very welcoming and made me feel right at home in my new university city for the two days in which I was at her place. The room was very cozy, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom spacious. Breakfast and tea were provided and saved me from having to look for a supermarket late at night when I arrived. All in all I'd stay there again anytime!
Shelley was very welcoming and even accommodated our late check-in due to coach delay. We had a lovely chat over breakfast and easily reached tourist attraction walking. The description and the reviews of other people are very accurate: the room is located on 4th floor and the bathroom on the third which might be annoying but is the price to pay to stay in a beautiful house from the 18th century. Shelley has a dog very friendly and absolutely quiet. We recommend the place and we would stay again if we will have another trip to Bath.
Very quiet and well kept room, quiet and beautiful area in town, nice walk from town centre.
Great host! Very welcoming and friendly. Lovely breakfast. The room was clean and spacious, and the whole house is beautiful. Set on the edge of bath town centre, it was very convenient to pop back after lunch to get ready for the evening. Next time we are in bath this will be our first choice!
Shelley is a very friendly and welcoming host. We thank her a lot to wait late for our late check-in due to a lot of traffic on the road.
The whole house is beautiful, well decorated, with a lovely dog (Lola!) where you feel like home.
The room is cosy and the bathroom fantastic!
Great breakfasts with nice chats about Bath and its surroundings.
The house is very close of Bath monument and city center, about 5 - 10 min walking.
My girlfriend and I had a comfortable stay at this quirky town house in Bath. Shelley, her son and dog were friendly and accommodating and she even went the extra mile when I asked her for a special favour to surprise the missus. It was a nice touch to have a basic breakfast available in the morning. The double room is perfectly functional and the bed comfy. Would stay here again! Small negatives are that there is no lock on the door (not that it was an issue for us at all) and the bathroom is shared with the rest of the house and the guest in the other spare room. Not big problems and did not really impact our stay. Thanks Shelley for inviting us to your house, hope we were good guests!
Shelly was very welcoming. An amazing house, great breakfast. I do recommend
This was extremely helpful, Shelley was there to give a tour of the house and was very welcoming.
This is a great place to stay - a traditional Bath Stone house within walking distance of the city centre. Shelley is an old friend, accomplished, well-travelled and a relaxed host. All in all, this is a friendly and ideally located B&B in the heart of Bath.
Great location and lovely house! Shelley makes you feel like family :)
This is a great place to stay and just a 5-minute walk to the centre of Bath. Shelley is a friendly, relaxed host and I felt at home straight away. In fact, it was hard to leave!
Shelley is an amazingly warm, open, and easy going person. She has travelled in many places in the world, lead a successful career as a film director, as much as being the mum of her lovely musician son Louis. She is welcoming travellers in her beautiful spacious townhouse which is very close to Bath's main monuements Abbey, Roman Baths, Royal Crescent, Circus... I thoroughly recommend you to come for a stay with this inspiring person, living in this lovely house in a magical city.
