Hello from Ko Lanta, Thailand!
We help run sun island tours, Excellent trips around ko lanta's magical islands.
We like painting and taking pictures..
My wife and I were looking for a relaxing, peaceful location and Koh Lanta and the Coconut House served up both to perfection. It is the ideal escape and the Old Town is utterly relaxed and peaceful. We stayed for a week and, while I would possibly agree with those who say that the Old Town side of the island may seem a little too quiet after more than a few days, if you are prepared to hire a scooter (very easy, very cheap and the roads are pretty quiet) then it is easy to be on any part of the island in 20-30 minutes. This was a truly memorable holiday and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for the famed Thailand scenery and tranquility.
Nice house with a great garden, pool and view over the rice fields. The bedroom and bathroom are great, kitchen could be better. Location is nice but you need a taxi to get to the center of Ubud. Their driver Piel was a nice guy and arranged some fun activities for us like biking and walking up mt. Batur. Can recommend.
A very sweet little place, ideal for a couple of nights but not much longer. It is fairly out of the way and this can be a problem if you want to go to the beaches or out for supper. Long beach or Khlong Nin on the West side are much more attractive places to stay.
Just loved it! The house was just perfect, listening to the waves under your bed at high tide, dogs and crazy roosters in the middle of the night. Best place ever!
Beautiful grounds very tropical and private secure setting overlooking rice fields, Bathroom was beautiful in a private outdoor setting it was unique to shower with butterfly's flying around you. Breakfast was made by helpful polite staff and was delicious.
endroit extrêmement humide dépaysement garanti un peu loin du centre très bruyant mais authentique
We had a lovely stay in the lychee house. In light of the traditional hotel stays it truly felt like a unique experience, sleeping with the sea right under your bed. The house has a nice hippie touch to it, and frankly we don't think that the present pictures on the airbnb does it quite credit. All amenities were in order, though the washing machine certainly wasn't from this century. We got it to work but I wouldn't advise you to use it for white clothing. Old Town is really much nicer than we expected - better food and more charm than on the other side. Very nice food and service at Apsara. No beach on this side but 500-600 for a taxi to and from Klong Nin - a very fine beach. Being a family of 4 with a 5 year old kid and a 6 months baby the mix of a couple of weeks on Klong dao and 5 daysin the Pole house turned out to be a very good deal for us.
We had a delightful stay at Coconut house. Definitely recommend!
La maison vraiment génial on es comme à la maison et l espace la situation très agréable je recommencerai
Beautiful village and people, would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a more rural setting but close to what Ubud has to offer. We loved falling asleep to singing from the village ceremonies. A nice communal feel with as much privacy as you need. The THouse staff are wonderful and so helpful!!
Susanna and his brother are absolutely great guest.
