We had a very nice stay! This apartment has a tremendous character and a convenient and charming location. While it's simple and not fancy in any respect, it really grows on you ... it's character and authenticity for us really added to our great experience in Siena.
We booked on short notice because we were keeping our travel in Italy flexible and unplanned. Chiara was extremely responsive and accommodating, she was great!
Chiara was at the appartement when we arrived and showed us all the neccesary things about the appartment, very good. The appartment was in
the old town and very close and sentral to "everything" in Siena and at the same time a quiet place in the town. The appartment was clean and tidy and had all the equipment (website hidden) we where 2 persons and rented the unit for 2 weeks we felt that the appartement was a little bit " thight" whit only one window in the unit (in the bedroom)and the only chairs in the kithcen. And one more little thing about the parking to the unit,it cost 2¢pr.hour or 85 ¢ pr.3 days. We find a place in the area before we reach the
football stadion Where it was free, but it was difficult to find place, the best time was in the evenings. We really enjoyed the time in the Siena area.
Ottima sistemazione a Siena, host simpatico gentile e cordiale !
Appartement charmant au rez de chaussée dans une rue calme à deux pas de la plaza del Campo, Bien équipé, peu lumineux mais très agréable.
Chiara is a great host: welcoming and organised!
The flat is ideally located (5mins to the duomo!) , functional and very clean. I would highly recommend it!
As the other reviewers have noted, this apartment is in an excellent location. Tucked away behind the tourist-crowds of Banchi di Sopra and via di Termini -- the two main arteries into the city from the main parking lots -- we found it to be very quiet. As a ground-floor apartment, it is quite cool during the mid-day heat (felt like the basement), which was a plus, but we did find it more functional than charming (one window in the bedroom means there is no natural light in the kitchen). We are always looking for good food to cook, so, for those who are the same: it is also close to a fantastic grocery store (Consorzio Agrario Di Siena) and a great butchery!
Chiara is a really lovely host! She was punctual for both our arrival and departure, and was flexible with our timing, which was very helpful for us/we appreciated. (She was also quick to respond to messages via Air BnB, which was great!)
In short, definitely recommended if you're looking to book in an excellent location in Siena with a very friendly, dependable host!
The flat is located in the historic part of Siena, just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and Piazza il Campo. The flat itself is small but modern, very clean with everything we needed for our one week stay in Siena. The internet connection is also great. I would definitely recommend staying in Chiara's apartment. She is a lovely and helpful host.
Very nice apartment, very centrally located in Siena, 5 mins from the main sites and 5 mins from the bus station. wi/fi works well, good place to stay for single or a couple, I will probably go back.
Great location in centre of Siena . Apartment was clean and very comfortable. A lovely welcome bottle of wine and tradition Siena cake awaited us on arrival. Chiara greeted us on arrival but we did not see her again as she lived in Florence. Kitchen was great to use with all basic equipment to prepare meals and bed was very comfortable. No air conditioning but apartment was very cool and we enjoyed waking to birds singing.
A good apartment to stay in'
Had the wonderful opportunity to spend one month in Siena. Truly enjoyed my stay in this apartment. Location couldn't be better! It is centrally located near Il Campo, but off a quiet street. Decor is simple and all necessities are provided. Chiara is also very accessible and answered any questions I had about living in Siena, before and during my stay. Thank you so much!
