I'm a 26-year-old translator from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I love to dance tango, travel, read, cook and photography. I am also studying to be a professional chef.
Hope we can meet some day!
This loft suited us very well for the 3 nights we stayed in Buenos Aires. It's a great location and Nico was really helpful with us when it came to currency conversion. However, it's worth clarifying that the room itself is a loft without doors or walls over the kitchen in a shared apartment. That said, there is little privacy. We did not feel our privacy was compromised in anyway at all, but it's not a room with a lock, for example. The bathroom is also shared.
The two kittens are extremely friendly and will sleep in your bed with you! We loved this because we missed our own pets at home.
If you stay here, walk over to Chile street for lots of great cafes and bars then across Defensa for some fun shops. It is a fairly gritty, bohemian neighbourhood, with lots of hostels and tourists.
If you prefer something more prestine, modern, private or luxurious, opt for accomodations in the Palermo Soho district or Recoleta.
All in all, worth the $30/night. And our experience in Buenos Aires was priceless!!
The flat is really well located and central in walking distance to many things. It is wonderfully furnished and charming.
Nico is a very nice host and has been a great help in answering all the questions we had!
The cats are very sweet and one is indeed clingy during night time ;-)
It is worth mentioning that it is not a "private" mezzanine, as it is open to the living room and kitchen (on one pic you can see the stairway going down) and you will not be able to close a door behind you (which finally was ok for us).
Thanks, had a really nice time, loved your cats, and Nico is a really nice guy, we got along very well. Nice restaurants and breakfast places within walking distance.
The reservation was canceled 248 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a great stay at this beautiful flat. Very nice furnished, full of light... cool enough on hot summerdays. The two cats are nice although a bit clingy at nighttime which was ok for us. Our flatmate Nico was great and very helpfull! Big reconmendation.
Wonderful apartment and very friendly hosts (and cats)! We had a great time staying in the apartment. Worth mentioning: The loft is located on top of the living room, you'll not have a room of your own, if you'll require strict privacy.
We really recommend this place!
I did not meet Sophia, but her roommates, Nicolas and Juan, were perfect hosts: generous, gregarious and informative. I had a fantastic New Year's Eve and enjoyed Nicolas' company and the room which he did his best to make comfortable during a very hot spell. Muchas gracias!!
Sofia, Juan and Aoife were outstanding hosts! They helped us with logistics getting in and out of the city, we got to use one of the house bikes, they cooked us breakfast AND dinner, and took us out for a night of tango and chocolate cake. We couldn't have asked for a better time - but it was too short of a visit. Muchisimas gracias!!! xo
I decided to stay in San Telmo on a whim as I saw the apartment and thought it looked super charming. Turns out I have great instincts. Sofia, Aofie and Juan made me feel extremely welcome. They also included me a lot in what they were doing, letting me get under the surface of the city. Had an amazing time. Thanks guys! I'll miss you too!
Great!!!! nice place, nice time!! thank you for all;
They were a wonderful group from Argentina travelling around Europe. They were an absolute pleasure to have around and I had a great time hanging out and chatting with them. They took excellent care of the place and they are welcome back anytime. We look forward to seeing them again soon.
Sofia and her friends were wonderful guests! We were happy to have them stay at our apartment.
