I'm a 26-year-old translator from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I love to dance tango, travel, read, cook and photography. I am also studying to be a professional chef.
Hope we can meet some day!
The flat is really pretty and the room if not private since there is no door is really charming. The cats are really way too friendly and they try to sleep with you, next to you, on top of you and in the end I couldn't sleep so left without staying which was a pity!
What a unique, beautiful place to stay. The host's friend Nico was extremely accommodating in arranging check-in and check-out/ key exchange and was extremely welcoming.
I had a good stay at Sofia's place. It's a neat loft in a charming unit and the location is quite convenient. Though, Sofia wasn't there, Nico was great to talk to and super friendly guy. Sofia's two gatos were very affectionate and did not hesitate letting me know they own the place. Overall, it was a good experience.
wonderful place and good people together
The appartment was wonderful. Nico had time left and showed us a little bit of the Buenos Aires. thanks for that. The appartment was good located and it was easily to walk by foot to the city center.
You have to like cats, because if the cats like you too, they will sleep at your bed.
This loft suited us very well for the 3 nights we stayed in Buenos Aires. It's a great location and Nico was really helpful with us when it came to currency conversion. However, it's worth clarifying that the room itself is a loft without doors or walls over the kitchen in a shared apartment. That said, there is little privacy. We did not feel our privacy was compromised in anyway at all, but it's not a room with a lock, for example. The bathroom is also shared.
The two kittens are extremely friendly and will sleep in your bed with you! We loved this because we missed our own pets at home.
If you stay here, walk over to Chile street for lots of great cafes and bars then across Defensa for some fun shops. It is a fairly gritty, bohemian neighbourhood, with lots of hostels and tourists.
If you prefer something more prestine, modern, private or luxurious, opt for accomodations in the Palermo Soho district or Recoleta.
All in all, worth the $30/night. And our experience in Buenos Aires was priceless!!
The flat is really well located and central in walking distance to many things. It is wonderfully furnished and charming.
Nico is a very nice host and has been a great help in answering all the questions we had!
The cats are very sweet and one is indeed clingy during night time ;-)
It is worth mentioning that it is not a "private" mezzanine, as it is open to the living room and kitchen (on one pic you can see the stairway going down) and you will not be able to close a door behind you (which finally was ok for us).
Thanks, had a really nice time, loved your cats, and Nico is a really nice guy, we got along very well. Nice restaurants and breakfast places within walking distance.
The reservation was canceled 248 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a great stay at this beautiful flat. Very nice furnished, full of light... cool enough on hot summerdays. The two cats are nice although a bit clingy at nighttime which was ok for us. Our flatmate Nico was great and very helpfull! Big reconmendation.
They were a wonderful group from Argentina travelling around Europe. They were an absolute pleasure to have around and I had a great time hanging out and chatting with them. They took excellent care of the place and they are welcome back anytime. We look forward to seeing them again soon.
Sofia and her friends were wonderful guests! We were happy to have them stay at our apartment.
