Having come to the UK from Germany in October 2010, I moved up to Scotland with my partner Nigel in September 2012. I am interested in photography and enjoy making postcards from them. Living in an area with lots of sheep inspired me to take up spinning wool. Nigel's connection with Clashnessie goes back to 2006 when he bought a plot of land to build a house on. He works as a sculptor using a diverse range of (often found) materials and is engaged in various organisations in the community of Assynt.
In May 2013 we got a very good natured English Shepherd puppy called Bruno, who is now a fully grown dog. He loves greeting people with a big bark and wagging tail.
