I'm currently a junior studying at Seattle University, majoring in History and International Studies, with a specialization in global awareness.
That said, I'm also from out of state (born & raised in the Bay Area in California!), looking to explore everything that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, all the while still concentrating on my studies. I want to really get to know this place that I've decided to call home, its people, all the mannerisms, and the hole in the wall places there are.
Reflecting back on my first year, there's still a lot of places I still haven't been to or seen in the PNW, as well as closer to home in Seattle itself. I'm thinking of visiting Spokane later in May to get a sense of the town for my history research paper on Century 21 (Seattle, 1962) and Expo '74 (Spokane, 1974). Meanwhile I'm just trying to explore places closer to home :)
