Our family has owned this cabin for 30 years. We love the area , hiking, beach combing, kayaking, surfing. Stuart, my husband and I live in Portland, my brother and his wife (Cynthia) live in Calif.

My group of eight had a wonderful time at the Arch Caper! It's surrounded by greenery and gives you a secluded feel, but you still get the benefit of being only 15 minutes from a major grocery store. The beds are plentiful and comfortable, the kitchen is fully-stocked (they even had a pizza cutter!), and the hot tub and sauna helped us relax at the end of a long day. This listing is a quick five-minute walk to a beautiful beach, and it was nearly empty when we went around noon. Jeanne and Cynthia are awesome, communicative hosts who were extremely gracious, even when I had to alter the reservation twice. We'll be back for sure!
Thank you for a wonderfully romantic weekend. The location was a serene, quiet neighborhood. Great little walk to the beach. Everything as advertised. only thing rough on our bodies was the queen sized futon. Appreciated the memory foam they had for it. The loft was worth it and the hot tub made everything better.
The hosts are great and open with communication. Plus providing such an inviting home.. thank you again for a great getaway!
The Arch Cape Beach Cabin is a wonderful place to stay! I celebrated my 40th birthday there with friends and we all had an amazing time. It's super cozy, the kitchen is great, the hot tub and sauna are delightful. It's very private and the forest surrounding the cabins is magical! A walk on the beach is just a short stroll from the cabin. I live in Portland and this was a great place to escape!
We had a wonderful time at the Arch Caper! The home was rustic-cozy; we especially enjoyed the sauna. Staying during the off-season provided just what we were looking for - a quiet neighborhood and the beach pretty much to ourselves.
There was a moment of panic when we couldn't get in the front door right away - the keys were a little bent and you have to jiggle just right to get the lock to disengage. After that everything was smooth - the house manual provided adequate information to operate the fireplace, hot tub, sauna, etc. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots/pans, dishes, and utensils. The mattress on the bed in the main house is worn but still comfortable - we did not use the beds in the bunkhouse.
Jeanne and Cynthia were unavailable during our stay but did check in the second day we were there to give us the contact info for someone close by to call if we needed help with anything.
Overall a huge success! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a simple place to relax.
The "Arch Caper" experience was comfortable, charming, cozy...the whole nine yards. We spent 3 nights here and could have stayed much longer. Just hanging out on the property is relaxing, and with the beach nearby and the Oregon Coast Trail around the corner it's incredibly convenient. We also didn't realize how quaint the communities of Manzanita and Cannon Beach were until we ventured up and down the road a bit. All-around a great weekend getaway.
Jeanne and Cynthia are expert hosts. Immediately available to answer any questions before and during our stay. The Cabin is cozy, fully equipped and and perfect family retreat. Just a stones throw from the beach and the hot tub is a great escape after a long day. Hope to come back with family next year!
Both Cynthia and Jeanne were responsive to my inquiries, that was helpful in making plans for what we needed to bring or not bring. Their Beach Cabin is simply put a escape into an enchanted land. Absolutely charming, the perfect location for my family Christmas gathering. A short nature filled walk to the ocean where we found a great beach to explore. Several of my family members voiced the desire to return, they all loved it so.
Thank you for sharing your home,
We loved this home! The beds were plentiful and comfortable and the space was very magical for all the kids and adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. Between the accommodations and surroundings, there was no need to leave the cabin, but with just a short walk to the coast and to beautiful hiking trails the location is ideal. Gas fireplace was very cozy and very warm! Our hosts left an easy to read manual for operating any of the appliances (including hot tub, sauna) and that also left really nice ideas for local activities. What a wonderful home they have shared with us and really made us feel welcome! We can't wait to go back.
Me and my friends had such a great time at the cabin. It was pretty easy to find, although there is no drive way so we passed it a few times before we figured out that you just park outside of the fence. The cabins are adorable and super functional. The heaters kept us cozy. The kitchen is great. We loved the sauna and the hot tub. The listing makes it seem as though the path to the beach starts on the property, but it does not. It is easy to find though and is just about a 1/4 mile down the road. We thought it was weird that we had to bring our own sheets, but when we got there we realized that its because they don't have a washer or dryer. Overall we had a blast and we will def be coming back!
Cozy and perfect in every way!
