I am a friendly single female who enjoys working, keeping fit, (cycling, swimming) and socialising with friends and family. I love to travel and plan to do a lot more after discovering this site!
We only stayed with Gracey one night, but she was very nice and gave us some good tips for what to check out in town. The room and apartment were clean and she purchased food for us to cook in the morning. My boyfriend accidentally broke a glass while getting something to drink in the kitchen and she was very cool and understanding about it.
There was some issue getting to her place, since her address doesn't include a building or apartment number, but we ended up finding it through messaging Gracey when we got there. Also, note that adjacent bathroom does not mean ensuite, which I was a little confused by;)
Gracey was extremely welcoming and a great host, the room was clean and with great space.
The views from the balcony of the river are great.
We stayed with Gracey in Newcastle when we came to see Rod Stewart at the Metro Arena. She went above and beyond as a hostess, having coffee for us and giving us the tips on all the cool hangouts around town. She even went out the day we left to try to help locate my lost wallet and cellular phone. Gracey is fantastic! The apartment looks over the river and has a lovely balcony.
We had a good time in Newcastle, and the apartment was just right right for location and space wise no problems at all will look to book again next year. big thanks to Gracey
GNR 2013 claimed the city and any area within 25 miles of it so to find this excellent flat right in the heart of Newcastle (and upon the starting line) was a blessing.
Gracey was super flexible with meeting us. Close by to some excellent bars & restaurants on Osbourne Rd/Sandyford and Metro links. Cosy and comfortable perfect bolt-hole for a weekend or weeklong city break.
The toasty power shower after the race was the icing on the cake and free city parking a bonus.
Very convenient little flat with all that is needed to cook food and conveniently close to the centre of town (a pleasant 15-minute walk) in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with excellent pub close by, 'The Collingwood' that does good, inexpensive meals.
Gracey handed over the keys with a minimum of fuss and was very prompt to sort out the problem of wi-fi connection.
Just one point to mention: the three-quarter bed would be a bit tight for large people - or those who are not the very best of friends!
Gracie was the perfect host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Her flat is amazing and the location couldn't be more perfect!
I stayed at Gracey's house for a week. The room was comfortable and clean, and I had access to all of the kitchen facilities which was very helpful. Gracey was kind and accommodating and even provided breakfast ingredients. The location was great - right next to the Baltic Theatre. The flat was also very secure and I was comfortable staying there by myself.
Good communication before and during my stay. Apartment is just as described and in a perfect location for visiting stuff around the quays - handy to them but in a quiet spot. Secure parking for the hire car was a bonus.
Gracey was a wonderful host. She was extremely helpful and accommodating during my stay. As it was my first time in Newcastle, she provided tips on where to go and what to do too. Overall, great stay, great location - would definitely recommend!
