The outdoors fill my soul, my big dog Kane is my best side kick, I'm just learning about eating raw foods, I'm curious about other cultures, enjoy adventure and just rolling easy with things discovering and experiencing as I go.
I am in sales; the upper midwest my territory. I'm am venturing out away from hotels and have just begun searching for 'unordinary' cozy places to make my travel feel less daunting. I look for comfort, look for walking and outdoor access, perhaps some great local venues. Anything that makes me feel 'at home.'
Even though I travel lots for work, I do enjoy traveling personally too. When I'm traveling for pleasure I tend to choose a few things I 'must' do and build my travels around that short list. I usually spend the day exploring local spots - galleries, bookstores, gardens, historic/walking tours, hikes - then spend the evening unwinding around a fire - preferably outside - listening to some good music while journaling about my day. As the night closes mapping out the next day.
I am hoping to move to the northwest by end of 2013. Between now and then - a trip to OR to check things out AGAIN and many work travels.
~Be well, do good work and traveling mercies my friends~
