Québécois, like hiking, cayoning, great nature spaces, culture and art, guitar and good food.
My girlfriend and I had a great stay at Jean-Francois' place. He has a nice apartment with everything you need, and he really goes above and beyond to make your stay the best possible by providing suggested itineraries of things to see and do, (website hidden) maps of noteworthy spots in Quebec, and great local advice. He's also a really nice guy! I'd definitely recommend staying at his place.
Great apartment - comfortable and conveniently located to main attractions. JF provided lots of information about Quebec City and was always quick to respond and answer questions. Would highly recommend his place when visiting Quebec City. Just remember to check whether there will be snow removal if you choose to park your car on the street otherwise you may find that your car was towed away early in the morning!
We had a wonderful stay at JF's apartment! It was nice to have more than just a small hotel room to come back to after a long day, and we actually had the whole place to ourselves because JF was away for work. While the place is a solid 20 minute walk from the best parts of the Old City, there is a great neighborhood of cafes, restaurants, and shops very close by on Rue St-Joseph that we really enjoyed exploring (especilly when less touristy and more affordable destinations). I'd definitely come back!
Very comfortable. Loved using the bicycles he left for us! Jean-Francois was very nice! We also had the apartment to ourselves until the last night. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a lovely stay at Jean-Francois' place!! The location was awesome, very close to St Joseph and a bit further to the Old Town, but still walkable. Although we didn't actually get to meet Jean-Francois he had everything nicely setup in his apartment for us to have an enjoyable stay. Thanks!!
Jean- Francois is a very nice and easy going guest. I wish we could have spend more time together and wish him all the best in the mountains!
