Lovely clean, modern apartment in secure duplex condo . We also enjoyed in the large communal lounge area in the ground floor. Walking distance from Westwood village. Also used Uber pool cabs for $5.0
The apartment was immaculate and exquisitely decorated. The courtyard with the fountains and palm trees created a calm peaceful atmosphere.
The neighborhood was very comfortable. The host Nicole was great to talk to, and provided the perfect appetizers and thoughtful and animated discussions.
My fiancé and I stayed with Nicole for two nights. She welcomed us into her beautiful home with a delicious slice of cake and engaging conversation. The layout of her place was clean and modern with artistic and colorful accents. We felt instantly at home and even referred to it as "home" during our stay in Westwood. Nicole's place is only minutes away from UCLA and the Westwood Village. Parking was really easy to find at all times of the day and night. Our room for the stay was very comfortable. We found it hard to drag ourselves out of the queen size bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud. The large window located in the room was adjacent to a small stream in the courtyard that provided pleasant ambient background when falling asleep. This was our first AirBnb experience and it has made us believers in this community.
I was greeted with cake and champaign! Nicole is an incredible and kind host. The loft is gorgeous and filled with sunlight. The bed is so comfortable, I considered skipping my conference's morning sessions to sleep in.
The area is very walkable to the Hammer Museum, restaurants, cafes. I was attending a conference in UCLA's Carnesale Commons--that walk took about 30 minutes, but the weather was beautiful so it wasn't too bad.
Parking was pretty easy to find in front of her complex as well.
I would stay with Nicole again in a heartbeat, suggest to all my friends and family to stay with Nicole, be Nicole's friend if I lived in LA!
From the arrival to the departure, Nicole was the perfect host in all senses.
Lofty stay is really nice, over the expectations (that were not low), as well as the neighborhood where it is located.
I can firmly recommend the experience if you are looking not just a bedroom and a bath in LA, but a place to feel like at home and a time to share with an excellent and interesting person.
The equilibrium between hospitality, help and advise by one side, and full respect for the privacy in the other, is something to be remarked too since is not easy to find nowadays.
1. The pictures are very accurate. Very clean, no clutter, minimalistic, natural light.
2. The guest room is private - I liked the layout, with a walking wardrobe separating the bedroom and the bathroom.
3. Very good shower.
4. Peaceful area - very quiet at night.
5. The host - Nicole is a very warm and welcoming host. 5 stars :-)
I stayed at her place for 3 weeks and during those days Nicole was so welcoming and friendly. Thanks for her kindness, I had very great days at LA :) She always gave me useful advices for my trip which was really helpful ! I really appreciate her consideration and being kind and friendly to me. (Plus, I would never forget the tasty foods that she made for me )
For me, her place was the great place to stay because not only she was one of the best host I've ever met, but the location of her place was also great. ( about 30-40 mins away from the Santa Monica pier by bus, about 40-50 mins away from the Hollywood and Beverly hills by bus) Of course, her place is really close to UCLA (20 mins by walk ! ) and the Getty center.
If someone who is looking for the place which is comfortable to stay and close to the beach and UCLA, I would definitely recommend the Nicole's place !
My friend and I visited LA for the first time this past weekend and we had the opportunity to stay at Nicole's apartment. It was great! We had our own room and our own bathroom (loved the shower by the way). The location is perfect for walking around UCLA and super close to a lot of the other sites in the area. The apartment was clean, comfortable and totally fit our needs. Should we ever visit again, we'll definitely make sure to see if this is available. Sort of sad we only met Nicole the last day, she was really nice!
My boyfriend and I had our first airbnb experience at Nicole's Lofty and it was amazing! The place is well located and everything is clean and organized. The bed is perfect! We did't had the pleasure of meeting Nicole personally, but even so she was a wonderful host guiding us in all that was necessary. I highly recommend this Lofty to stay.
We enjoyed hosting Nicole. Her original booking was for 3 people but she changed that to 4 at the last minute so I'm not sure if they were entirely comfortable. They were great house-guests.
