I recommend the Victorian Garden to everybody!
Jacqui was great! Very accommodating, great space.
Jacqui was a great host. She left us some nice welcome gifts and made it very easy for us to get in and get settled. Super nice lady. We had a panic the day we were leaving; our flight was leaving 3 hours earlier than we thought and we realized it at the last possible moment, and thus we weren't packed up the way we needed to be. Jacqui helped us make it back home by agreeing to send us a box of our stuff while we high-tailed it to the airport. I also accidentally flew home with her spare key. :( The location is wonderful, literally a 60-second walk to about 10 great restaurants. I would love to stay here again sometime!
We had a very nice stay at Jacqui's home. The pictures don't really show how cute the place truly is. Overall, the place is clean and convenient (very central). We booked her place last minute and she was sweet to accommodate us on such short notice. We could hear clicking heels from the hardwood floors she has above the bedroom we stayed in but it really wasn't that bad. There's no place else you'll be able to soak in a hot tub with a gorgeous garden.
Jacqui's apartment is perfect for a stay in SF. The kitchen is very well stocked with cutlery, crockery and pots and pans etc... for those who prefer to dine in, and access to downtown area is easy by public transport. Parking-wise, I rarely found parking within a block or so, but there's plenty of parking around the park which is a 5-10 min walk. However, I think you don't really need a car in this part of town to get around anyhow because the public transport is so good.
Lived in the garden apt for six nights. The apt is nice and convenient, and everything worked as expected. The area is great. Very close to nice Cole valley cafes and restaurants, and the Golden gate park. Public transport with the N line to downtown is nearby. The hosts seemed like very nice people, we only met them once. Really appreciate complementary bagels, jam, butter and yoghurt in the fridge on arrival!
We stayed 4 weeks in SF at Jacquis Garden Apartement and enjoyed our stay very much. It is clean and well maintained. Especially Jacquis hot tub ist HOT! It was allways the perfect end of our full packed days to relax in the hot tub while we were watching the stars. Erverything you need it very close. We started our days running or having a walk in the golden gate park, then had a coffee in Cole Street. (A very nice relaxed neighborhood). When we arrived Jacqui welcomed us with nice things for a good start in the morning. (Coffee, Bread, eggs, marmelade) and she even washed our towels and linens every week. Perfect service. Thank You!
We just spent one week in Jacqui's place. We had a delightfull stay. She even left some Xmas cookies to welcome us on Xmas eve....
There is everything you can need in the house, and my sons enjoyed a lot playing ping pong or pool, and relaxing in the jacuzi after!
The neighborhood is great, very close to the park where we went everyday with my grandson.
Even the De Young museum is near, we all went walking to see David Hockney..(how lucky!)
We loved Jacqui's home. It's a huge house with big bedrooms, nice bathrooms, nice backyard views that it seems you are in a park. I really liked it. The house is located in Haight Ashbury a very colorful and nice neighborhood. You can have nearby supermarkets, stores, restaurants and much more. Off course, if you want nature you have two blocks away the Golden Gate Park which is amazing!
And if you want to hang out a while, you can find almost everything in the house, X-Box, ping pong table, terrace in the backyard, great living room...
Jacqui was super kind with us, helped us to get a few deliveries to her home for us.
From this place you can get to downtown in 10 by car, or you can walk the whole city and enjoy San Francisco.
Myself and my boyfriend spent a fantastic 10 days in Jaqui's garden flat just off Haight street in November. We had a brilliant experience, the apartment exceeded all of our expectations, it was charming and comfortable and soon felt like a home from home. As an added touch, Jaqui left us some crumpets and jam for our first breakfast in San Fran, which was really lovely!
The flat is perfectly located, right across the road there's a Goodwill store for bargain hunters, there's a gorgeous cafe called Stanza serving the best coffee I had in the city, Haight Street Market is just a stroll away if you want to pick up some groceries.
Apart from the excellent location, the flat also has access to the beautiful back garden, which has the singular bonus of having a hot tub.
We couldn't recommend this place highly enough!
