I am extremely sorry that we had to face this situation and that ultimately your experience with Airbnb was not satisfactory. But as we have already discussed, and Airbnb agreed on that, you had not mentioned that your car was particularly large. My garage in standard-size, and we never had such problems with our previous guests so far with any type of car. In addition, you could have alternatively looked for a parking place in the street near the apartment (just like many people do - private garage is kind of a luxury here) but you decided not to do so straight away and go to book an hotel. It was your choice, and I could not be held responsible for this. My mother had prepared very well the apartment for you and your friends, she had spent time to welcome you, helping you carry part of your luggages, and at the end it wouldn't have been fair to accept a refund while it was very last minute and not because of us. Airbnb was the one to take the final decision, and they agreed that the fault was not on our side, taking into account all the elements of the situation. So, again, I am sorry that you have been disappointed with your Airbnb experience, because as hosts we precisely aim at offering the best experience to our guests for 2 years and a half now. But you cannot blame us for that. Going forward, I sincerely encourage you to use Airbnb again, but being much more specific on your parking needs.
Thank you very much & best regards,
