Absolutely wonderful! The place was tidy and attractively decorated. Everything was thought of. There were extra blankets, hair dryers, an iron, a shelf full of books, artwork on the walls...the bathrooms looked clean and new. It's a short walk from the station that takes you right into Manhattan. I felt very at home!
We were upgraded to a loft! Really welcoming and clean. Very close to J train and it was also really easy to find parking space. Would definitely highly recommend this place!
First of all, the room is really, really small. But, if you don't have troubles with that, you are going to have the most wonderful experience during your stay! The house is super clean, organized, and really close to the train station/subway.
The house has two bathrooms, I had no problem with that, cause no one is there at the same time, and one kitchen/living room. You can cook whenever you want, which is really great if you don't want to spend a lot of money eating out.
I recommend Santa Ana for everyone that's looking for a cheap, but also comfortable and safe, experience.
I stayed at Santa Ana for two nights and was really happy with my stay. I really appreciated the fact that the place was clean and well kept. The house is really close to Bushwick and I got a chance to explore and enjoy the coffee shops around the area. I highly recommend everyone to do the same! It is a really unusual/unique part of New York. Also it is so easy to get to Manhattan by train! Overall it was a very good experience for the price!
Everything was straight forward and easy to follow directions. Highly recommend and would stay again.
The studio was nicely decorated, and it looked exactly as shown on the pictures. However, there were a few minor things that could have been addressed before I arrived: The toilet handle was broken when I checked in, and there was a used bowl in the kitchen sink. The apartment was also very warm with the central heating on and there was no way to lower it. The house itself was also not very sound-proof, so if you are a light sleeper, you might find it difficult to have a restful night. It's fine for one-night stays, but I wouldn't recommend for longer stays.
Super sweet, accommodating hosts! Readily available to answer my questions and have made this place feel more like a home than somewhere to just rest your head after a long day of sight-seeing. Have extended my stay twice already and would absolutely stay again. Three blocks from the subway!
I didn't meet the host but everything went smoothly. Just be sure you get the email directly from her that is packed with extremely detailed instructions on how to get in. The place was neat and clean and had special touches throughout. The lockers are smaller than pictured but there was plenty of closet space. I got lucky and had the room to myself for 2 nights. You have to unlock a few doors and go outside to access the kitchen but hat's a small price to pay for access. I would gladly stay again.
Clean and comfy room. She has a good living room as well. That is nice since you can communicate other travelers.
