This house was even cuter than it looked in the photos. The decor was very beautiful and Mexican style. Very comfortable and homey. Close to the beach and the town. Great place to stay!
We three women had a fun time here. The casa is just as shown, clean, spacious and comfortable. The center of Punta Mita is a short walk. We didn't meet Mario in person, but he was very responsive to our emails. Thanks, Mario!
Mario had an amazing team of people who made us feel so welcome and taken care of. We took the bus out of Puerto Vallarta which was a little bumpy but we didn't mind. We were met by one of Marios team members who took us to the house. The place was more than we expected and was exactly what we were looking for! There was lots of seating and an awesome hammock upstairs where you could hear the ocean. The neighbourhood was good, with lots of friendly locals who spoke mostly Spanish, which is the experience we wanted. But just down the road were lots of shops and highly rated restaurants and people who spoke plenty of English. There was lots to do as you're only steps away from a quiet beach with beautiful sun and surf. Highly recommend staying here and ask about getting Mariana the housekeeper to cook authentic Mexican for you at least once, she and her brother were amazing! Loved it, will be back.
La casa esta muy bonita y limpia, tiene todo lo necesario. La ubicación es muy buena ya que esta cerca de la playa y de restaurantes.
Casa Sera was great, it had everything we needed and more! The home was very clean and comfortable, just what we were looking for!
Across the street was Manni's store, the owner was very helpful he answered all our questions. Everyone in town made us feel very welcomed!
We will definitely stay at Casa Sera again!
Casa Sera was just as good the second time around as the first. It is in a very walkable area of town and is furnished with everything you need and is built in such a way that you immediately feel comfortable and at home, whether lounging by the pool or playing cards on the second level open aired deck.
One of the best part's of this home is the property management team that runs this down in Punta de Mita. We arrived to complementary ice cold beers, and fresh guacamole and pico awaiting us on the kitchen island. Ramon and his family do a great job of making you feel welcome in town, whether it's surfing secret waves or just doing zumba with the local community. They also gave some great pointers as to what we should see/do for Day of the Dead.
The house is wonderful. You feel like your part of the neighborhood, not inside of a tourist fortress. The house is decorated great and is comfortable. The kitchen was awesome for our group of 8, and the upstairs porch was perfect for relaxing. The air conditioning was a nice respite during the afternoons.
Punta Mita is a lovely town, and all the people we interacted with were very kind, even though few of us know much spanish. Ramon who checked us in bent over backwards to make sure we were set up. From showing us where to buy fish at the harbor, set us up with a local snorkeling boat tour and recommended good surfing spots. Manny's across the street is a great corner store with everything from tequila to can goods.
La casa tiene todo, superó nuestras expectativas. Es limpia, cómoda y muy bonita. El vecindario está bien y la playa muy cerca. Tienes todo lo que necesitas.
I stayed one more time at Punta Mita Mexican Beach Cottage and had, once again, a lovely time. The house is clean and comfortable. Mario is a wonderful host.
The house was everything we needed, perfect set up for our group. The house is just as described in the photos.
Punta de Mita is a sleepy little beach town, and it was exactly what we were looking for. We were a block from the beach, across the street from a small store, and a short walk to the small commercial area of town.
Getting around is pretty easy as well. There a group of cabs in the town center, and a cab for larger parties is just a phone call away. Mario gave us all the information we needed and then some, listing attractions, restaurants, cab companies, surf lessons, who to call for an authentic home cooked meal. If you could think of it, it was in the information brochure in the house. Anything outside of that was a phone call away.
Definitely a great place to stay for a quiet trip
And lastly, there were tons of towels. (something very simple, but often overlooked!)
