I am a 59 year old divorced woman living in a lovely Victorian house in Aberystwyth. I love singing with my peace choir, and walking on the coastal path.

One of the best stay of our road trip in Wales. Susie is a very welcoming person, she offers us some tea and freshly cooked Welsh cakes (our favorite) so good, we have nice conversations about everything, which was nice for us. My daughter loves her 2 cats. The blue room is big and pretty. We had a short but lovely stay. We recommend her and will come back if we visit again Wales.
Susie was the most welcoming host and her home is lovely. The house is set in beautiful countryside and I had a good 9 hour undisturbed sleep in The Blue Room! Excellent breakfast including home made bread and jams. I can highly recommend a stay here.
Susie is a lovely lady who made me feel at home the minute l stepped into her lovely home. I was given tea, scones,& home made jam in her large farmhouse style kitchen, then showed to my "little room"...(which was not actually that small, with views to die for!)
Breakfast was also good with cereal/muesli & bread for toasting with more home made jam& tea & coffee provided.
Susie is a wonderful host! Very friendly and extremely helpful - nothing is too much to ask. We were greeted on arrival with tea & scones - Perfect!
The family 'Blue Room' was very comfortable and all three of us slept soundly. Breakfast was a delight with some homemade jams and bread and it is so good to have such a wonderful healthy & organic breakfast to start the day! We even picked up a few tips for homemade muesli - a new staple now we are back in Australia.
This was a home away from home!
Thank you Susie...!
Susie is a delight! Warm, and utterly welcoming, I felt at home immediately. Her home is most inviting and the accommodation really comfortable: I had the best night's sleep for a long time in the The Blue Room. Breakfast was simple and delicious: home made and plenty to eat in charming surroundings. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely guest house and will most certainly stay with Susie on anther occasion.
My stay in The Blue room was fantastic. The location is peaceful and in some beautiful country; it's just a short bus ride into town. Susie is exquisitely accommodating, sharing her knowledge of the local area and the rest of Wales. The breakfast is tasty; you'll find her quite generous with her homemade jams, bread, scones, spreads, fruit, etc. She is also generous with her musical instruments. I recommend staying here. You'll have a very comfortable stay with some good company.
Susie was generous beyond expectations, and has a really beautiful house. Thank you so much for making me feel at home, and for great conversation! I look forward to next time!
I stayed in the little room for one night. It sure is little, but that was not a problem. You are not staying in Wales to sit in a bedroom is it?
Sussie has been the greatest host I ever stayed at.
I arrived after a very long and tiring day of motorcycling and she welcomed me with homemade pastry and jam, and a cup of tea.
I was too exhausted to still get dinner, so she even drove me to a nearby supermarket.
In the evening I had a nice talk with Julian, who shared his motorcycle stories from the past and told me some tips on where to ride to the next day. I went to bed satisfied.
In the morning there was a lovely breakfast with homemade bread and jam. Would go there again if I have the chance.
The area around is a beauty by the way.
We had a great time staying at Susie's. It's a clean, comfortable, beautiful light filled house in the countryside. Susie provided us with breakfast both mornings. She also recommended an incredible walk about 30min drive away which was the highlight of our stay. Definitely recommend a stay here.
Staying at Susie's House was really great. She and her partner Julian are lovely people. Everything was clean, the room was nice and cosy and the bed was amazing. I slept so well - best night in our holiday. You get fresh towels and the bathroom is very clean, too.
We got some tea and cookies when we arrived and for breakfast we got some of susie's homemade bakery. If I hadn't to go back to work I'd stayed there for ever :). I totally recommend it.
Thanks Susie for coming to stay at mine and being such a lovely person.
