The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I only stayed there for one night but it was a very nice stay, very friendly staff, good breakfast and cool atmosphere. It was also a very good location, with only 5 minutes walk to the river and about 20 minutes by tuk tuk to the Angkor Wat temples. Definitely would recommend!
Nice hotel with lovely pool and lovely staff. The staff makes you feel so warm like coming back home. The room was also fine.our first room got some problem with the shower, they came and fixed it so quickly after told. Somehow the electricity suddenly stopped several times, but ran again in 1 or 2mins,didn't really matter. Yeh good location. Quiet place but just 10mins walk to old market

Sadly and SURPRISINGLY when we arrived, the whole area was a huge construction site. The nice pool deck chairs and toys on the pool picture were gone and people were working to install some concrete tiles, using the disc grinders covering the whole area including the lobby that was under construction as well into clouds and dust. The front desk girls watched with clean shoes from a distance while we tried to navigate the wet concrete tiles with our 7 head family and baggage.
A proper managed hotel would have closed the hotel for the duration of this upgrade or at least given us us a warning, an alternative hotel or a very good discount.
Neither happened so it felt like a bait and switch - we didn't leave, as we had to pay in full in advance prior to arrival.
We booked this hotel specifically because it has a swimming-pool to relax before our departure and while it was up and running, with all the mess and workers around it, there was no way of using it or the "restaurant" downstairs.
Having said that, the rooms were in perfect condition with spacious beds and the whole hotel is brand new and just finished (not even :-) ). Location is good as well, with only one block from the river that offers a pleasant 1 km walk to the old market and pub street.
We met one of the owners the following day and were allowed to keep one room at no charge to take an afternoon shower and store our baggage, which was nice, but still not generous enough in our opinion. I would strongly advise to check if the construction is done before booking this place. It shouldn't take long, we just had bad luck. After that it should be a great place.
The hotel name is not yet commonly known by the drivers, just ask for "home sweet home", which is just two buildings further down the road.
We had a great and restful time here. The deluxe air conditioned room we rented was very comfortable with a bathroom that was well stocked. Our only quibble was that they were doing renovation work in the entrance area so we tracked in some construction dust into our room, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again once the construction is over.
The location is near the central of Siem Reap. When we arrive, the receptionist was a little confused about our reservation but we completed it anyway. The room was good. I think I had my best sleep in the last week here.
There were a lot of restaurant to choose for outside the hotel. Recommended!
Despite some construction (which was looking good!) a comfortable stay in rooms with new furnishings and fittings; and welcoming hosts. Good value for money.
Great experience here!
The basics - we had a room with two double beds on the first floor, so no view, but also no real noise to worry about like you sometimes have on the ground floor. Plenty of hot water and cold AC! We used the pool one night and found it super refreshing and clean. Breakfast was fairly standard and it was nice to have it included.
Location was convenient enough to take a short ride to the areas with more restaurants and quiet enough not have to deal with all the traffic and noise.
Fantastic staff, including Peter, our tuk tuk driver. He was a fantastic guide to the temples and overall really nice person. The front desk staff was always available to help answer any questions and kindly arranged a local bike tour that we had found advertised in the lobby (Butterfly Bicycle Tours).
Great part of town, removed enough from the pub street area to avoid crazy drunk partygoers yet still walkable. Rooms were clean and well-furnished, and staff was helpful.
