Originally from Vancouver, Canada but now live in Ireland and work in the Tech Industry. I love travelling Europe on the weekends with my girlfriend and we rent out our own AirBnB place when we're away.

We had a great stay during our trip in Dublin. Catharine and David were great hosts and answered all our emails very quickly.
The apartment was clean and is located in a central area. You could walk into the city if you like.
From a personal perspective Catherine was a great host providing information about the area, restaurants and any issues we ran into. The living area is simple clean and modern which fits our tastes perfectly. The apartment is near fantastic restaurants and is an easy walk into Temple Bar. It is easy to travel into and out of with a train station nearby. Unfortunately, the noise from the train station is very noticeable so if you aren't a heavy sleeper you will have issues. My wife and I were also disappointed with the quality of bathroom furnishings with the towels being very thin and stained as well as the bedding where the pillows very thin and the sheets were old and heavily pilled. The bed itself was very uncomfortable. All of which lead to a couple sleepless nights.
This is a very positive reference for Catharine and the flat.
She has been a perfect host going over the extra mile to make things easy for me, before during and after my stay in Dublin.
The flat is exactly as you can see in the pictures and the position is excellent for business and pleasure.
The flat is very close to the rail and there can be some noise but I could experience it only in the evening as I woke up every morning to catch the first DART train service, No noise during the night at all.
All the rest (Internet, kitchen, laundry machine, bathroom, bedroom) is functional and working perfectly. I do am an heavy sleeper but never had issue with the bed. I found towels, sheets and bed were clean and of good quality.
On my first visit to Dublin for Web Summit last week, I had a great stay at Catharine's house. Catharine was a very helpful, accommodating and flexible host.
The apartment is a perfect little one bedroom and very well located, just about a ten minute walk from the city centre. The broadband connection in the apartment is blazing fast.

Nice and comfortable apartment. Everything very uncomplicated and relaxed. Perfect!
Excellent place in a great location in Dublin. Clean, modern, everything worked (Wifi was FAST). My first time in Dublin, so I like to be central to the city center of a new city with almost everything in the city within walking distance. There are a couple of pubs nearby (Slattery's Bar is good) and a tiny pizza place next to it - excellent. Supermarket around the corner and a taxi stand within 100 yards of the front door for a quick ride to the airport or elsewhere.
Catharine and David were very pleasant guests and easy going. They left the place very tidy and clean...could hardly notice that someone stayed. I would definitely recommend anyone to accommodate Catharine and David at their place.
a pleasure to have them.
come back anytime :)
Catharine is a nice and qiuet girl, she and her boyfriend were good guest.
No trouble, no mess, everything was just perfect with them.
I hope they come back one day and they choose my place to stay again!
5 stars in all aspects for them.
Catherine was a great guest as I wasn't here for her stay so totally trusted her with all my valuables and in my house. she did not disappoint and keeps my faith in humankind, everything was how it should be and she even stripped the bed which was a nice surprise. Would welcome her back anytime.
Hosting on airbnb you get to meet guest that make you happy about the setvice you provide and hate to see them leave, then you get to meet others that you wish you could have push the declined key instead.
Catherine is one of my best friends and even though we live so far from each other, I still appreciate her being in my life. We started surfing trips together 2 years ago and that's how friendship began.
Through my experience I can say that Catherine is really nice friends and some you can trust and rely on.
Recently, I got to visit Ireland and we happened to stay in the nice condo that Catherine usually offers through airbnb. This place was fantastic! It was super clean and nicely furnished. There are so many nice places to go for food around and the bus stop was about 5-7 minutes walk and it takes only 15 minutes to get to Temple Bar or Trinity College.
Catherine is always super warm and friendly and definitely a person with whom I appreciate to be friends.
Cat and I went to college together and now work at the same company. My favorite trip we've taken together was to Faro, Portugal where we spent the weekend surfing, sunbathing, and drinking cocktails. I'd recommend her company to any Air BnB host because she's tidy, careful with the property of others, and has epic skiing adventure stories. Her Dublin apartment is sunny, has a comfy bed, and is a 2 minute walk from the best breakfast place in Dublin!
