We enjoyed our stay in Argyro's cozy garden apartment located in the heart of Skopelos town. Communication with Argyro was easy and she arranged for her father Yianni to pick us up from the port as we had very heavy bags - this was much appreciated. We also enjoyed the complimentary, delicious homegrown/homemade produce. The location is extremely quiet and close to everything (bus stop, port, supermarket, restaurants etc.) The garden is very pleasant, complete with fish, tortoises, and (friendly) turtles. We would definitely stay there again.
Marvelous! Argyros house is just the place to be in skopelos. Clean, cozy and with a cute garden to have breakfast. In the middle of town and yet you feel to be out in the countryside. And on top of that Argyros tells you all the best places and beaches to make the best out of your visit to this beautiful island!!. We'll come back for sure.
The welcome was great. Arggyro came to meet us at the port and brought us to the apartment. This last was very confortable, well cared for and clean.
Once arrived in the apartment Argyro was very kind and advised us at the places to go, both the beaches and the restaurants. I have to say that their advices was very helpful, she didn't disappoint us!
The house has respected the description and was very confortable and handy because in the center, but at the same time peaceful and quiet.
I highly reccomend both Argyro's apartment that the town of Skopelos, one of the beautiful Island of the Sporades. You won't be disappointed!!
Argyro was a wonderful host who responded quickly to all our emails. Argyro was away when we arrived but she kindly arranged for her sister to meet us at the port to show us the way to the apartment. We were delighted to find home made jam and preserved cherries, bread and butter as well as fresh cucumbers waiting for us. We were even introduced to the resident four turtles in the beautiful garden courtyard.
We were also very grateful to find beach towels provided for our use on the glorious Skopelos beaches.
We loved our stay at the lovely apartment in a perfect location for being in the town of Skopelos. Argyro and her family are wonderful hosts! We would definitely stay here again - it was all just right and so much hospitality.
Argyro Was a terrific host, Argyro & her boyfriend very kindly met me at the ferry & walked me to there great apartment thats very centrally located, only minutes from the port and the shops/restaurants etc.
They gave me lots of great local advice for food, beaches, transport.
Argyro even brought me some delicious and incredibly tasty fresh and local produce of vegetables and fruit, this was very generous.
The accommodation was exactly what I needed, cool, great yard with turtles, small kitchen I used for at least 2 meals a day and a comfy big bed.
I am very grateful for there very kind hospitality & would love to visit Skopelos and stay here again.
Secret Garden is a really nice apartment, well located in the centre of Skopelos town but far from the noise and confusion of the port area.
The house is comfortable and the garden is also a nice relaxing plus.
We had an amazing time in the island, there are heaps of activities to do and beaches to discover. :)
Finally our host Argyro was very kind and helpful before our arrival and during our staying, she provided us with many interesting information and local tips to enjoy the island even more.
The secret garden appartment is really recommendable! Not only a great location, very close to everything in Skopelos, but also with the most amazingly beautiful little garden to enjoy. Argyro was very helpful with us and her father picked us up from the ferry 5 minutes walk through the narrow cobbled streets. He had left us homemade jam and eggs from his own chickens for our breakfast! The appartment itself is very nice with a basic kitchen and a lovely bedroom. We had a great time and would come back.
