This is my first Airbnb experience and I am really thankful that I had met Micah and Colleen! I loved my stay here! The house had a very rustic and homely feel to it and I have to say this.. i absolutely love the kitchen. The internet connection was very reliable and strong. It is also right by Mission St where the buses are and about 5 - 7 minute quick walk from the Bart station.
But the best part is actually the fact that Micah and Colleen were such wonderful hosts who connect easily. They went out of their way to make me feel at home and comfortable. And not once did they take anything for granted. Their dog was a princess. And loved her too! Will definitely miss them loads! :) Thanks so much for the wonderful stay! :)
The hosts are nice and friendly. They also gave us helpful information about visiting the city and dinning nearby. We enjoyed our stay!
Amazingly nice hosts! Always helpful and very funny. We really enjoyed our stay.
This was our first Airbnb experience. Over all it was a good first experience with this sort of thing for our family of four. The location is pretty good... close enough to walk to some local restaurants, quiet enough for sleeping. Seemed pretty safe as well. Not upscale.. more along the lines of a culturally diverse area. We were thankful for parking to be included and to not have to worry about street parking although I don't think we would ever have had a problem finding street parking, just nice to not have to wonder since we had kids with us. Liked that we had two bedrooms and our own bathroom. Felt very at ease in the house and able to come and go as we pleased. Loved trying out all the places Colleen and Micah suggested for eating!
This home was was beautiful! The host Micah & Colleen
were amazing! Very friendly and helpful! A wonderful place to stay !!
Micah and Coleen were great hosts! Their home was awesome and a great deal for the San Francisco area. They were very accommodating and it was very nice to have our own bathroom. If we are ever back in San Francisco we are definitely going to try to stay with them again! Also they are in a very cute area next to the Glen Park Bart station that takes you into town. And be sure to check out the French bakery a few block away from them!
Micah and Colleen were good hosts. They were quiet and respectful of my space. They frequently asked if I needed anything. Micah picked me up at the BART station, which was a real help. Their house was convenient to BART, so getting into SF was easy. The room was adequate and having a private bath was a benefit, but be prepared the shower is really small. My only issue was cleanliness. I stayed for two weeks and I'm not sure the bedroom or bathroom were ever cleaned. They did change the sheets and towels once, so that was good. The dogs are fun. All in all, it met my needs.
Not only did my husband, my brother and I enjoyed staying at Micah and Colleen's house, we had a wonderful time with the best hosts in San Francisco anyone could ask for! Their house has been prepared to comfortably receive guests and allow them privacy and both Micah and Colleen were very welcoming right of the bet. They went above and beyond what we expected to make sure we had a great time in San Francisco and felt comfortable in their home. If we get to go back, there is not doubt to where we will choose to stay. I recommended it to all good travelers, but especially to those who are looking for a unique experience and perhaps great new friends.
What a perfect place to stay this was. Couldn't have asked for kinder hosts. The parking spot was just big enough for our rental minivan (as long as we put the nose right up to the garage) and the neighborhood was super cool, with a great salvadoran cafe at the end of the street. Highly recommended!
Overall the stay was good, I would recommend the place to other travellers. Some further details about the place: the space you can rent has two bedrooms and a bathroom that are private. The two bedrooms are not connected by a private corridor or anything though. The bathroom is right next to one of the bedrooms. The place is not within purely walking distance of down town San Francisco, but there is a metro station quite close and it is easy to get about. You should mention what kind of car you are going to bring if you want to use the parking spot. We drove a Ford F150, and it didn't really fit. This wasn't a problem though as there was street parking available. There is a dog goes about, but it is very old and lacking any energy, so even if you aren't a dog person like me it wasn't a problem at all.
Micah and Colleen are gracious hosts whose hospitality is unmatched. As a long time repeat guest, they always overwhelm me with their vast knowledge of the local area, friendliness and wit. I feel much more than just a guest but a friend who has the pleasure of spending time in their lovely pink palace.
Micah and Coleen are great and friendly hosts. Stayed for one night and slept in a warm and quiet room. The dogs were very nice. Would definitely stay again next time im in SF.
Micah is an extremely bright and talented individual. His knowledge of Linux, Selenium and other automated testing tools is very impressive. In addition to knowing Micah through work (VerticalResponse), I've also come to know Micah personally. He's very honest, kind and a great cook!
