We went during the week so we had the apt pretty much for ourselves - which was cool. Really easy to get to by subway. Comfy couch and clean apt. The photos and info about the apt on this site are 100% accurate. Very nice and welcoming person.
Sarah's apartment was amazing. I had such a good time staying with her and her flat mate Krista.
They were very friendly and made me feel very welcome which was great as I was traveling alone. They also offered very good tips on how to get around the city which I most definitely took on board.
My only regret was not going out with the girls on Saturday night. My last night with them. Would have loved that.
Thanks Sarah... you were a fabulous host and I loved your apartment. Would stay again. Please look me up if you are ever in Australia. Xx
I had an amazing four days/nights in NYC and much of that is due to Sarah's wonderful apartment!
It was remarkably clean with a great shower (hot water & good pressure!) and a very comfortable bed! After walking around NYC all day it was nice to be able to relax at the spacious apartment and get a good nights sleep in the cozy apartment.
The location of the apartment is absolutely amazing! Just a few steps into the East Village / Gramercy Park with tons of great food options. Subway is only a few blocks away, but there are plenty of things to see and do within walking distance. The apartment is in a very safe location and I never felt unsafe walking home alone, even at 3 AM.
I would highly recommend Sarah's place. Sarah and her roomate were extremely friendly and gave me great advice/directions when I needed it! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Sarah and her roommate were great!
I really felt that my trip went smoothly and I loved staying at their place. I felt like I wasn't so much on vacation but got to see perhaps a glimpse what it may look like living in NYC. The location was very safe and an easy location to walk to Madison square and only about 10 minutes from subway.
Both girls were friendly and open. I really appreciated that Sarah was flexible on my odd hours to "check in/out." When I first arrived, I was so amazed how clean the place was especially the bathroom! It made my stay so much more comfortable.
They also have a sweet and shy kitty. :)
I enjoyed staying at Sarah's. She did everything "right" to make sure I was comfortable and knew how to get around, find what I needed, etc. Her apt. was a warm and comfortable place to stay and I would recommend her and her apt. to anyone.
Sarah's place was great. Clean and orderly. Fresh towels and sheets. Great kitchen and bathroom. In a fairly good location - only a short walk to Union Square. Sarah was lovely and was more than happy to help out with all my questions!!! Id recommend a stay here to anyone visiting NYC.
I stayed with sarah 3 days and could not say enough good things about her. Even though she wasn't feeling the best while i was there she was still always making sure i had everything i needed and making sure i felt comfortable. I would recommend sarah to anyone whos travelling to new york, also location was very handy, only 15 min walking distance from downtown new york and 5 from all the great areas like soho, greenwich and lower east side. Again don't hesitate, book with sarah. thanks again sarah. ben
This was my first stay with airbnb and it had an element of divine intervention that could not have been better. I'm an NYU mom, was bringing a bicycle to my son, and discovered that because of a U.N. assembly there was not an available room in the city for less that $350. Sarah & co., a fun trio of young professional women, to the rescue. Their place is a spotless, quiet, and airy apartment with glimpses of the East River in the very nice Peter Cooper complex, and they couldn't have been more welcoming. Sarah called my cell when she thought I might have gotten lost on the way there (I got pretty absorbed in the neighborhood and walked too far before I realized it), and once I arrived we chatted and watched a Law & Order premier. I slept like a rock, and the next morning the airbnb gods were with me when Sarah became a key player when my lost wallet and notebook were found and turned in at the nearby Public School 40. They called her number (found in the notebook), she called me, and voila! And not a thing was missing from the wallet. She and I laughed -- "Who says New Yorker's aren't nice?" Thank you New York, Sarah, and airbnb who gave me a connection away from home. If anyone knows how to convince PS 40 that they should've taken the little reward I offered, let me know. The only downside is -- how could something this good happen again?
My sister and I had a great stay here. Sarah and her (website hidden) are kind, genuine and lovely people. The flat was super tidy, well located and felt very safe. We would definatly recommend to anyone and would stay again.
I stayed at Sarah's place and I can just say it was perfect!
They are 3 girls that live there, kindly, gentle, very very clean. I felt like I was at Friend's serie! Every detail of the house and their care, it's a very nice place. I TOTALLY RECOMEND!
They made me feel very confortable and helped me a lot with tips and clarifying my doubts about the city.
It's located in Manhattan heart, easily access for metro's and cabs (which can be considered even for a low budget trip).
