Coming from London i didn't get to experience much of the outdoors. That is to say it was usually a 4 hour drive for me to get out of the city and into the mountains. So when i moved to Queenstown in 2006, I truly though i had won the lottery. Having all this amazing scenery and endless activities on your doorstep has left me with a permanent grin on my face, as i'm sure you will notice when you meet me.
And it was here that I met my amazing wife, Peggy. Peggy moved here the same time as me, from Crested Butte, Colorado, where she lived for 13 years, although originally from Utah. Peggy has taught Yoga for over 20 years, which is actually how we met. I dragged my stiff inflexible body into her studio looking for help and now in addition to flexible hamstrings, I have a best friend and life partner. We both really love to travel and are in complete agreement that we have not seen enough of this amazing planet. We both love to cook (vegetarians) and if you're lucky enough you may get to sample some of it :)
As hosts, we are pretty laid back and fun. We love where we live and one of our biggest enjoyments is getting to share it with other people, particularly if you've not been here before. We enjoy meeting new people which is a big reason for us doing this. We would be stoked if you went away thinking that meeting us and staying in our home was a big factor to you really enjoying your trip here.
We have 2 beautiful boy dogs...so must love dogs...
