Bonny has been a perfect host. She explained all information needed for a good arrival a couple of days before.
The condo was wonderful. Excactly, maybe better as described. We spent 8 nights for skiing with two kids (6 and 9). The Quicksilver Lift was in a easy walking distance as well as the large pool and the hot tubs.
The condo was quiet. We didn't see any neightbors.
There is absolutly no need to have a car - except you want to try Vail. We did it two days and enjoyed the wonderful views from the Blue Sky Basin area.
The first three days we suffered from altitude sickness and decided to have a little break from skiing. We used the time to walk to the nice little town.
I liked most the moments after skiing when we sit at the fire place with a hot chocolate. We would definitely come again.
Bonnie was a fantastic host! Very welcoming. Dave was gone but I remember him vividly from our visit last year and he too was a warm and friendly presence. The house is tranquil and calm. Two bedrooms make it quite nice for a father and daughter traveling to check out the University of Michigan to maintain privacy. There is a bathroom that is clean and fine. Terrific soaps and shampoos are provided along with big towels. Did I mention the hot tub? Terrific! And Bonnie's banana bread that she baked fresh the evening we arrived was wonderful as a late night snack and as a breakfast loaf. The neighborhood is just minutes from downtown Ann Arbor and Bonnie gave easy to follow driving directions. If my kid does wind up going to UMich I will no doubt be spending time with Bonnie and Dave (if there's room at the Inn that is!)
My second stay at Bonnie and Dave's was great again. They were out of town, but they had organized everything perfectly, and we were taken care of by a friend of theirs. I missed them, as they are such wonderful hosts, but I know I will come back again. :-)
What a great condo and value for the money this place is! If you don't rent this condo right now you are nuts. I don't say that about every place I stay.
First, the location is perfect for skiing/boarding and just relaxing in Breck. It is just a 5 -7 min walk to the Quicksilver lift which is direct to most greens and a jumping off point for the whole rest of the mountain. You are also only 5-7 minutes to the south end of the Main street. You can walk the entire main street in about 15 min each way from there. We did it in 20 degree weather and it was tolerable in the right clothing.
The place was so easy to access, directions were perfect, and comm with the host was very simple. We knew it would be, but the hike to the third floor was tough with the altitude and after a day of skiing. It was totally worth it though because it meant vaulted ceilings in the condo.
The place was perfectly clean. It was also well appointed with linens and towels in the bathrooms along with everything you need in the kitchen. The televisions worked great. There was a fantastic real wood fireplace that we used a couple of times. Plenty of room for 4 people to stay comfortably and enjoy time together.
The visitor book the host has compiled is the best I have seen through AirBNB. It really answered all of our questions and gave us ideas to talk about dinner each night.
The only small complaint was the fridge was sort of old and got really loud at night. One of our guests slept on the couch and she complained about it. It really wasn't a big deal though.
I can't wait to go back to Breck and stay at this place.
Bonnie and Dave were great hosts! They were in contact at appropriate times from the moment we made the reservation through the date we left - available if we needed them, but not at all intrusive. We loved the condo; very comfortable and spacious enough for the five of us, and it accommodated our other family members quite easily for dinner one evening.
Everything was exactly as shown on the listing, the condo was very clean, and the amenities were more than adequate. The location was perfect; truly an easy walk to the Quicksilver lift and to town.
The guest book in the condo was most helpful in determining what to do and where to go. Only regret is that we couldn't have extended our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience!
Not enough can be said for the incredible hospitality that Bonnie & Dave have to offer. At such a busy time of the season (New Years), they had suggestions for us every step of the way and were available at the drop of a hat if any question were to arise.
Their Breckinridge condo looked even better in person and the instructions for check-in and check-out were as easy and clear as you will find. Also, being within a 5-7 minute walk from the heart of downtown Breck, it's the perfect location for everyone. Whether you're wanting a quick trip to the lifts or just to spend a day soaking in downtown, the spot couldn't be better.
For any of you sports fans out there, or TV show junkies for that matter -- There are TV's in both the living room and bedrooms, all of which are equipped with cable. It made it extremely easy to keep up with the college football bowl games when we weren't on the slopes.
Overall, I find it hard to believe that we'll be able to top our experience with Bonnie & Dave and I look forward to staying at their place again.
From start to finish, 10 out of 10!

Everything was perfect with this lovely apartment. The hosts have done an excellent job to make guests welcomed and confortable. We enjoyed everything. The distribution makes it really easy to make the best of our days It is a option that has to be considered if you go to Breckenridge.
We were very happy staying at Bonnie and Dave's--it was very special to be in our own wing, so we could spread out and not feel intrusive. The room was very comfortable, coming and going were made so easy, and we were made to feel very much at home.
Bonnie and Dave's condo in Breckenridge was the perfect place to spend Christmas with my family. It was incredibly comfortable for 4, and it had everything we needed/wanted; from a great family room, to fire place, to grill, and hot tubs a block away. Bonnie was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this great condo in a really great ski town.
Comfortable, spacious and convenient! Bonnie and Dave have this place perfectly set up for a great stay. In fact, this was my second visit and I've already booked a third. The proximity to town and the mountain is great ... you are close enough to walk everywhere, yet surrounded by nature in every direction. All the practical matters from a good internet connection ... to check the overnight snowfall to the kitchen ... to cook a hardy meal before or after a day on the slopes are seamless. An every expand guide book of things to do around town and the area helps you to become "a local" on your very first stay. You'll feel right at home and not want to leave!
Super guest: I felt like I'm visited by family. Bonnie is genuinely kind, friendly, respectful, considerate, clean. It was a pleasure hosting Bonnie.
Bonnie came to Seattle to stay for a few nights, she was really nice and upbeat and we discussed her work as well as her experience in Seattle. I would not hesitate to host her again, I had a pleasant experience being her host.
Friendly, communicative and clean, would definitely host her again!
