I'm an easy going, responsible New York City resident who understands that the market drives hotel prices way up, is lucky to have a wonderful home in Manhattan himself, and wants to share it with people!
I didn't get to meet Rayette though we communicated via text and email and we got along great. I would like to clarify a few things however: the trash in the kitchen was in a bag in a trash pail, I forgot to take it out before they arrived which I absolutely should have. It was not, however, littered around the kitchen as the review may seem to imply. And while it's possible I rushed my preparation this time around, I do think the bathroom was much cleaner than reported, as the other 20 reviews would indicate. Lastly, the apartment is not old, the building was built in 1986. It's a modern doorman building. Rayette mentioned some cabinets not closing perfectly. These imperfections to my eye are barely noticeable, no other guest has ever commented negatively in this regard.
